The Sand Dollar unit at MI Happy Place Island Resort is a fantastic two bedroom, one bath unit that sleeps six. The updated Sand Dollar features comfortable beds, luxurious linens and an Island style relaxing décor throughout! With a king, two twins, and a sleeper sofa with upgraded mattress, a great night’s sleep after days of sun, sand, and fun are a foregone conclusion.

This Anna Maria Island locale is perfectly located directly across from the Manatee Public Beach. The MI Happy Place Island Resort (formerly Garden Villas) features new ownership and management with exciting amenities and upgrades that combine to make a beautiful, convenient, and relaxing location even better!

MI Happy Place Island Resort includes a fabulous full size heated pool with a spacious 30 x 40 foot pool deck and a covered grilling area with a gas grill. It's a perfect spot to gather in the evenings after a lazy day at the beach. Every unit offers a variety of beach amenities as well – chairs, wagon, umbrella, and more.

The resort amenities will make your Anna Maria Island vacation relaxing and enjoyable for a quick trip or an extended stay. The lush, beautifully landscaped resort oasis is ideally located close to the beach, nearby eateries, and shopping. Walk to the Cafe on the Beach, Skinny’s Place, the West Coast Surf Shop, and more. The Island Center Shopping area, also within walking distance, serves all of your shopping needs including groceries, eateries, and specialty shops. If you want to explore more, simply hop on and off the free trolley all day everyday - just across the street. Many Florida attractions, such as Busch Gardens, Mote Marine Lab and Disney World, are within easy driving distance.

For larger groups, this unit can be rented together with the others, so be sure to check out the other three: MI Happy Place Sand Castle, MI Happy Place Sea Horse, and MI Happy Place Sea Turtle.

This condo was exactly how they described and portrayed! It was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed as far as kitchen supplies and linens go! The pool was always clean and although laundry wasn’t in unit, it was just across the yard of the property & was very clean and worked perfectly! It was a great location on Anna Maria, right across the street from the public beach x

Family Vacay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented three of the four cottages for a family of 9. The cottages and location were absolutely breath taking! A few steep to your right and you were on the beach, we you can play sand volleyball, enjoy a sunset, collect seashells (mornings are the best) or enjoy a pina colada at the Tiki Bar. A few steps to your left and you will find grocery store (reasonable priced), liquor store, Walgreens, and some cute store fronts. We took advantage of the free trolly at the beach and visited both end of the Island. Bridge Street, located on the bay side had great restaurants and variety of shops. We saw multiple dolphins on the pier. The house had everything we need and more, the beds were very comfortable and enough seating for a family gathering. We ate dinner outside and BBQ’s a few times during our stay. We didn’t need to rent any chairs or umbrella for the beach. We loaded up the wagon (was provided) with the cooler, chairs, umbrella, volleyball, and football and headed to the beach to enjoy the soft white sand. We enjoyed the pool daily! It was a nice spot to hang out together, play water games, sunbath, hang out in the hammocks, or play card games while enjoying the beautiful view. We hope to come back and fill the fourth house with more families members.

"Best Vacation Ever"

Reviewer Comments: That is how my 16-year-old granddaughter described our week stay at your property. BVE!!! We loved the location with easy access to the beach, stores and free trolley. The accommodations were fantastic with everything I needed to fix meals every day. Loved having the washer and dryer to do the daily load of towels. The pool was fantastic, and we enjoyed it every morning and evening after coming back from the gorgeous sunsets. Our Agent Amy Trainer was phenomenal, keeping us updated on water shutdowns as well as procedure's for checking in and out. We will definitely be back next year.
