2-Large one bedroom units featuring over 625 sq ft and private entrances and ocean facing decks and balconies.

1-expansive 2 bedroom unit with over 725sq, private entrance and large ocean facing deck. All decks have modern, luxury lounge furniture and accessories.

Each unit is a curated collection of vintage inspired design. Clean lines and simplicity are the theme with a beautiful white on white walls, trim, painted wood floors and crisp solar shade window treatments.

Large, protective awnings over all south facing Windows to increase comfort by reducing heat and UV allowing for the sweet ocean breezes.

European style kitchens featuring full size, built in stainless refrigerators and dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, and cookware, dimmable warm LED lighting, full compliment of cooking utensils, premium flatware and tableware.

All Bathrooms have tile floors and tile tub/shower enclosures with flow efficient rain heads and glass partitions for open enjoyment. Upper unit features a freestanding soaking tub with amazing views of the ocean and the islands.

There is a massive communal front lawn with ocean view Adirondack chairs perfect for the cocktail hour.

Great place for a family gathering

We rented the entire Lazy Hummingbird for our granddaughter's graduation. Everyone had a private space and the large apartment and deck made a perfect spot for a graduation celebration with a view of the ocean. We were all so happy with our stay. Beautiful, comfortable, offering everything we need.

A Santa Barbara Thanksgiving

Spent the week of Thanksgiving with my family of 6 (and visited Grandparents nearby) Great location! The layout worked well for us as several of the adults were working remotely early in the week and we were all able to find somewhere to do this. Kitchen appliances and cookware are better than adequate, as we were able to make an entire Thanksgiving meal here - Gorgeous views too!

The Lazy Hummingbird is awesome. The property is easy to access (lots of stairs, so may not be great for those who have mobility issues) and was very clean.We took all three floors and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. Beds were comfortable and any questions asked were promptly responded to. Hosts (property management firm) was excellent; we can't say enough good things about them.Thanks for making our birthday boy (70 years old) so happy with a trip to his favorite place in California.Would definitely come back and stay again.

Summerland Family vacation

Our family enjoyed our stayed at the Hummingbird. The set up was perfect. It gave my husband and I privacy from the kids when we needed it. But it also provided us with areas to gather and enjoy each other. Each living space was well stocked with every day needs. The location to the town and beach area were just right. The neighborhood was very quiet and the views of the ocean spectacular. The only issue we had was the garbage was overflowing when we got there and some cans were never emptied. Other than that I would highly recommend this rental. It’s simple decoration and easy feel helped to make for a relaxing week. Sue Ronan 8/1-8/7
