You'll love relaxing on the porch or sitting next to the fire pit enjoying some of the most scenic views in the hill country. Hopefully, you'll catch a glimpse of our resident roadrunner. This is a fully furnished one bedroom cabin high on the hill of Eagles Nest Dr. Roadrunner cabin comes complete with everything you'll for a great stay, The only things you'll need to bring are clean clothes and food.
Roadrunner is just about three miles to everything, three miles to town, three miles to the Blue Hole, three miles to Jacobs Well, three miles to the Zip Line, three miles to The Shady Llama. There are also many great vineyards and breweries in the area.

Excellent Spot

Great spot with lovely hill country views, but still very close and convenient to Wimberley. The house is very comfortable. I stayed for a month, and it is well-furnished for a long-term stay--full kitchen and plenty of kitchen equipment, basic supplies, washer and dryer. I would definitely stay again.

Peaceful Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Roadrunner Crossing!! The cabin was very clean. It was decorated and made to feel like home. Peggy even had fresh flowers sitting around to enjoy!! They supplied all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. They even supplied fresh water bottles, coffee and creamer, ice and a candy jar with Lindt truffles! I had to have one with my coffee! Such nice touches!! The king size bed was very comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were clean and stocked for our weekend stay. Curtis would come out each day and put out food for the deer and foxes around their property and they also had hanging bird feeders. We were able to see about 5 deer and a family of 4 foxes and all kinds of birds! Was so nice to sit out on the back porch and enjoy the view of the animals and the beautiful sunsets at their property.Thank you Peggy and Curtis for your kind hospitality and for the enjoyable stay!!

Very Nice

Property was easy to find, had a gorgeous view and from the time we arrived we were surrounded by deer and other wildlife. Cabin itself was very clean, very nice, everything was as listed. Thanks Curtis and Peg, we would def repeat.

Absolute Dream!

The cabin was cozy, very clean, stocked, quiet, and serene, and the wildlife was amazing! I was sitting on the porch worshiping and reading my Bible and a beautiful family of deer wandered up and grazed 10 feet in front of me. I’ve never seen so many beautifully colored birds on one place. Road Runner crossing and Curtis and Peggy were all a real blessing indeed. We will go back!

Beautiful cabin and location

My husband and I just made our fourth visit to this cabin! We love the location just near the Wimberley square and the beautiful views. The wildlife is fantastic to watch too - deer come up to the cabin and a fox ran across the open area in front of the cabin during the visit. Great sunset view!
