I'm a local, I've stay at the Gulf Strand for many years and finally got the opportunity to be an owner. I want all my guest to love this place as much as I do, so if you need recommendations for bars, restaurants, live music, entertainment or anything else please feel free to contact me to get a locals advise!
Why they chose this property
Location, Location, Location! It's just hard to beat. Miles of beautiful white sand beach, walk either direction to find all the best Tiki Bars, live music, shelling and of course the best sunsets you've ever seen! A half a block down across the street is the Dolphin Village Plaza with Publix, Dollar Store, CVS and specialty stores along with restaurants and a bank. Also directly across the street is the Sea Turtle Restaurant, owned and operated by a local British family has the best breakfast on the beach along with a great affordable menu. Speaking of affordable, directly behind the Sea Turtle is "The Drunken Clam" best dive bar on the beach! They have great TV's with all the sports you want to watch, along with the best wings on the beach! also local favorites like fish spread, peel & eat shrimp, etc.
