If this is what you seek, then you MUST book this loft. The colors, the light and open air, will make you BREATH AGAIN....

This is a small apartment, funky, Cozy, artistic, cool, comfortable and comes with free bikes !!!

Great for long term OR short term stays! Excellent location; 6 miles from LAX, 4 miles from Santa Monica Pier and Santa Monica Promenade.

Great location!

This little studio is part of a house that regularly rents out other areas of the house. I was under the impression that it was in someone's back yard, but it's a whole house that has turned into rentals, which is fine, it's just not listed that way. The bikes this place comes with are shared bikes among the other guests and the bikes aren't up to par for peddling to the beach. This place would have been better if paper towels were provided for the kitchenette. I also would have preferred the bare ceiling above the mattress in the loft instead of a saggy fabric hanging in your face. The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette was just what we needed. The shower was hot with great water pressure, we especially loved the shared courtyard to eat and hang out.

I was Cancelled upon arrival

Words cannot convey my utter dissatisfaction with is place and VRBO. First: The area/address listed on the vrbo is a lie. It’s not even in Marina del Rey. It is in Venice. I booked this place because it was by water. It is not. It is two houses in from a busy street, inland from Venice Beach about a 30 minute walk. Place would be cute if it was upkept. Secondly, and most importantly, I literally had the key in my hand to the place and luggage at my side when I opened the door and noticed someone obviously still there. I was early so upon messaging the Host, and walking down the street to grab a coffee, I was appalled to read that “ there was a glitch in the system and your room is no longer available. You will be refunded in full. Sorry.”— Can you believe this!? No nothing else. I was left to find another place last minute with no car, two bags of luggage and a wedding party to get to in two hours! NO other help to find another place or offer to help pay for another place!! I booked this room three months ago!! I ended up having to pay for a hotel that was more than twice the vrbo!! I contacted VRBO for reimbursement of some kind and to block this Host from renting more rooms, but they were NO help! Because I didn’t call VRBO customer service before I left the property to ask for help they will not reimburse me whatsoever. I am sooooo angry. Find somewhere else.

TERRIBLE -- neighborhood, upkeep and false pictures

Not even close to the VRBO site --this is a sketchy neighborhood; Our room was taken by another person! The host moved us to a different room, and while showering, another couple came into our room saying it was theirs! It had a broken toilet, stripped faucet in the kitchen, a plugged in burner on the drain board, and the walls are paper thin (yes, we heard the arguing next door at 3AM and the squeak of their beds springs). This was a disaster -- over priced and nothing AT ALL like the pictures. I have NEVER left a negative revue and would love to report this VRBO disaster.
