Quiet Eco Haven on Secluded Beach with Wood-fired Sauna

Reinvigorate your body and mind in this beautiful and peaceful retreat. Resting above Whangarei Harbour you will enjoy panoramic views and access to a secluded Bay ideal for swimming, kayaking or fishing. Guests have access to a private wood-fired sauna nestled in a Pohutukawa tree hovering above the bay.

Enjoy the owners eclectic art, help yourself to fruit and vegetables from the garden, tend to the chickens if you feel inclined or stoke the range cooker on a chilly winter's night.

Our home is located two minutes drive from a well stocked food store in nearby Parua Bay, 10 minutes drive from white-sand surf beaches: Ocean Beach, Pataua and Kauri Mauntain. Our house is on the Te Aroroa trail and within walking distance to the Mount Manaia trail and Mount Aubrey.

Ideally suited to a family our a couples getaway our home sleeps six in the following configuration.

Main House, Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Main House, Bedroom 2: 2 x Single Beds
Sleepout: Queen Bed + Private Bathroom

Notes: Our house has two bedrooms and one bathroom. There is also a sleepout which has its own bathroom with cold shower. This property is intended for a quiet stay where guests-only stay and no parties are allowed. Your respect for the environment and out neighbours is much appreciated.
