This family friendly 2 level cape is located in Bonnet Shores, one of the best quaint, enchanting beach and boating communities in all of Rhode Island. Just 1 mile (a 20 min walk) or easy bike ride from secluded Kelly Beach. Perfect for large families or two families vacationing together. Sleeps up to 8 people. 3 night minimum for stays in June. 7 night minimum (Sat - Sat) Jul - Aug. Sorry, not pets allowed.
The main floor includes a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a family room with flat-screen Smart TV with Amazon fire stick (connect to your own streaming services), 2 bedrooms, and a full bath. Sliders open out to a large deck with gas grill, patio furniture, outdoor hot and cold shower, and spacious flat backyard. The second floor offers two bedrooms with queen beds and an additional full bath. Washer and dryer are located in the basement. Home includes air conditioning units in bedrooms. Wi-Fi is included.
Bonnet Shores is ideally situated on the North end of Narragansett. Walk, jog, or bike the 5K loop through Bonnet past breathtaking views of the Ocean and Narragansett Bay.
Kelly Beach is located 1 mile away from the house (about a 20 min walk or quick bike ride). A short board walk leads to a lovely private beach with beautiful views. There are no amenities at Kelly Beach and no public parking. Drop off is allowed, and a bike rack is available. This keeps the beach less crowded as it is only available to Bonnet Shores Residents and Guests. A complementary beach bike is available to guests for easy beach access, drop off and pick up, and a bike rental shop is located just minutes away. Beach Shuttle service is available on weekends in July and August and picks up/drops off by the mailbox at the house. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer.
All necessities are located a short drive down 1-A or 1 including a supermarket, pharmacy, coffee and breakfast, restaurants, movie theater, DVD rentals, bike rentals, and seafood market.
A short drive south leads to the Narragansett State beaches, the landmark Towers and sea wall, a vibrant downtown, and the active fishing port of Point Judith where you can purchase fresh seafood right from the docks or catch the ferry to Block Island. North along 1A leads to the port of Wickford and the bridges to Jamestown and Newport.
