Beds were comfy, check in was seamless. A very nice spot to just get away from the noise and enjoy nature.Having the hot tub was nice, shampoo conditioner and body wash stocked in bathrooms. Plenty of towels throughout the house.Only complaint at all was that the frying pans are in rough shape but that's literally the only thing. Would highly recommend this place!
I really loved the easy check in process and the communication. The place was as described we just loved the hot tub and the fire pit by the water. EveryMorning coffee overlooking the water was so nice and the Beds were extra comfy. Overall it was super peaceful and relaxing!
My family and I loved the location and proximity to all recreation and adventure that we could possibly pack into 5 days. Coming back to the cozy home after hiking, rafting, and adventuring was an amazing part of it all. The hot tub, fire pit, scenery and comfortable accommodations were all highlights of what I consider a 10/10 vacation. Easiest check in/out I’ve experienced!
We really enjoyed our stay. The deck had a great view of the river and lots of birds to view and baby deer and turkeys out front. Everything available for cooking and grilling. Lots of seating, some a little worn. The patio chairs a were really comfortable and was a favorite gathering area, as well as the covered front porch. Bring your own seasonings and disposable products. Secluded and very peaceful stay.
Excellent accommodation for a long weekend. House was clean and the views were amazing. Enjoyed having multiple games to choose from on a rainy day. Hot tub was great.
We had the best spring break trip here with our two sons. The property was comfortable and well-stocked. Communication and checking in was incredibly easy. There were a few things we had questions/concerns about and everything was responded to and addressed/answered immediately. We spent so much time outside-it was a great "reset" for us to get away from the city and into nature. We would definitely come back to this property!
The house seemed to be cleaned very well and it was spacious. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The hot tub worked and was clean. The river view and sounds were great, and the kids loved the hikes down to the river.
Multiple generations enjoyed this lovely house with plenty of space, well stocked kitchen, and great location for winery visits. Highlights include extra sleeping space, local coffee provided by the host, and the hottub! Gorgeous views and responsive hosy!
Had an amazing time at this secluded, stunning property. If you're looking to be immersed in the beauty of the Shenandoah River and West Virginia, this is your place.
We had a fantastic time at this beautiful home. Our kids loved the games and bunk beds and everyone enjoyed the spectacular views from the fire pit. The perfect family stay for watching the seasons change. Excellent communication from our hosts - would love to come back.
This was an amazing place to stay. Not too far of a drive from many different activities and a beautiful home. Be warned it is up on a hill so winter stays are more precarious - we ended up leaving a day early out of an abundance of caution due to a large winter storm system moving in.
This house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The view is fantastic and our kids loved eating on the deck. Apple Maps has no issue finding the house!
We enjoyed coffee and looked over the fabulous view each morning, and soaked in the hot tub after a bonfire every night. It was almost perfect. Be aware, the listing is not kidding about the bugs, or the steep drive. But it's fabulous.
