About this property

The perfect valley getaway

Originally built in 1901 and remodeled in 2001. Our home is perfectly situated in the St. Croix river valley. Located in historic downtown Taylors Falls you will be within walking distance of all the shopping and restaurants on main street. We are a short drive from Wild Mountain, Trollhaugen, Interstate Park and Franconia Sculpture park. There’s also tons of walking trails nearby.

Lovely house

We were a group of 6 ladies. The house is just beautiful and very spacious. All bedrooms were large especially the master bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was very large and had everything we needed. We spent most of the time at the large table in the kitchen playing games as unfortunately the weather was rainy. The front porch was nice and covered and kept us dry despite the rain. It was a half mile walk to Taylor’s Falls. This house was perfect for a group of our size.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful home, 3 very nice size bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is amazing and fully stocked. We stayed for the weekend for a family wedding so didn’t spend much time at the house but it was perfect.

Great location… Very nice place!

We had girls weekend. This place was perfect for us. We did the boat tour.. walked to the shops.. came back to the house and played many games. Lots of laughter. We are all excited to book this house again.

Great location!

This is a great location to access all the fun to be had in Taylor's Falls, St. Croix Falls and the surrounding area. We visited fawndarosa, kayaked on the St. Croix, hiked at interstate park, listened to great music at wild mountain winery, ate at the drive in , and had an all around great time. The house is very clean and you can walk to many places.

Beautiful home in Taylors Falls

Home is beautiful, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the backyard. It was a quick walk into town to explore shops and grab a bite to eat. A perfect weekend! We would stay again and highly recommend to others.

My husband and adult kids stayed here for a short get away. Neat old house that has everything we need. The owner checked with us via email to see if all was going well. The jacuzzi tub was nice after a kayak trip in the park. 50's themed diner and minature golf across the street were fun.

Beautifully decorated, fully stocked with any amenity you could want or need. Very cleam and well organized. Comfortable beds. Within walking distance of a diner, coffee shop and other shops. Within a short drive to restaurants, shopping, convenience and big box stores, hiking trails and a winery. Loved having a bonfire one of the nights. Loved using the jacuzzi tub. Room to park 3 vehicles. Very easy to get to and find. We felt safe there.

Excellent location-Walking distance to dining and shopping

The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of seating. The main floor also had plenty of room and a very comfortable living room sectional. All of the bedrooms are on the second floor along with two full bathrooms. There are a lot of stairs so not good for anyone with knee problems. The master bedroom and bathroom are huge! The other two bedrooms and full bath are also plenty roomy. The half bath on the main floor was also very nice and convenient. There was plenty of off-street parking. We had three vehicles and there was still space. The home was within walking distance for eating, bars and shopping. Very good location! Our biggest problems were figuring out all of the remote controls to run the living room TV and the thermostat.

Exceeded Expectations

As lovely as this house looks in the photos, it's even better in person! We so enjoyed staying here. The owners are extremely hospitable and responsive. The furnishings are very comfortable. We appreciated the quality of the appliances, dishware, glasses, towels and sheets. (No thrift store finds here!) Plenty of space to gather, play games, and relax. We didn't realize just how close we'd be to the fun downtown area and to Interstate State Park, the location could not have been better! We took a boat ride on the St. Croix, took a train ride from Osceola, and took hikes in Interstate Park to see the amazing potholes. A very joyous family vacation with our college aged sons.

We had a great time and very happy with everything with the home! The owner checked in to make sure we got in and was very responsive to a question Great location, kitchen was full with everything you could need and great bonfire area for games at night! Large, clean home near the epicenter of Taylors Falls

This home was very clean, large, and well stocked with bath, kitchen, and comfort items. We enjoyed a lovely weekend with our two young sons. Great communication with the owner. Location was quiet and we enjoyed the backyard firepit. Beds were very comfortable and no issues with temperature. Kitchen had it all, including spices and baggies/foil.
