Bridgecroft House

Bridgecroft House

Located in the heart of the Richmond village, Bridgecroft is a pleasant 5 minute stroll to the town centre. Our family home is situated on 2 acres and offers privacy with a quiet country location. With 2 spacious lounges, free wi-fi and Netflix, there is room even for the largest family.
We have 4 bedrooms - 3 with queen size beds and 1 with two king singles. Our bathrooms have a separate shower and(one only) bath should you need it for small children.
Bridgecroft has a full kitchen with dishwasher, induction stove and electric oven. You are welcome to use food from our pantry during your stay should you run out of something.
Our outdoor entertaining area has a gas BBQ and wood fired pizza oven. A separate area has a hot tub heated all year round to 39 degrees. You are welcome to use at no additional charge (bath robes are behind your bedroom door).

An outdoor fire pit with permanent seating has been established on the 1/2 acre of open space below the house. There is plenty of room for children to kick a ball or just roll down the garden slopes (adults are permitted to do this too!!)

With quality accommodation for up to eight people, this is the ideal location to base yourself to explore southern Tasmania.

Note - the property has resident blue tongue lizards and the occasional echidna.

This was better than expected. Nice big home with beautiful furniture, beds, linen, cooking utensils and kitchen utensils. Beautiful big warm spa, beautiful wood pizza oven….. just everything. We will be back. Oh yes the boys enjoyed the pool table and record player too. Just the perfect place to stay.

Relaxing and comfortable stay with friends

This was our 2nd group visit to this property after having such a great time previously - it was everything we hoped and dreamed for. Quiet and private location within easy walking distance to Richmond. We stayed during the Southern open vineyard weekend so enjoyed being located a a short drive to local vineyards and being able to sample local wines and food. Property was clean, spacious and very comfortable- nothing better than relaxing in the spa of an evening. Thanks Andrew for your hospitality!

Fabulous girl's weekend getaway!

This property perfectly suited our needs for a reunion/catch up of friends not too far from Hobart. This large property was well set out and met all our our needs. The wood fired pizza oven was fun to use and the spa had us wonderfully relaxed. Thank you Andrew for a wonderful stay, we will be back! Also recommend the Killara Distillery just up the road :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It had everything you would have in your own kitchen. Plenty of room in the fridge and freezer. Bedrooms had queen beds and good size rooms. There are two lounge areas. Both very comfortable. Lovely deck to also lounge in. Hot tub was the perfect setting for relaxation. Lovely, spacious house that offered us a thoroughly relaxing experience
