This comfortable, modern beachfront house was the perfect location for our family holiday, offering plenty of space with multiple living areas indoors and out. Stunning water views in a family-friendly beach, in a convenient location close to Hobart, historic Richmond, and endless beach communities.
The house was spacious with a beautiful view.More pans like a steamer or electric frypan would be good as the cooktop only had 3 elements. The house had good access to Hobart and the airport. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house to anybody heading to Hobart.Cheers
Excellent location right across the beach. We stayed as a family of 7 to use as our base to discover Hobart and surrounding tourist spots. Excellent place to come back to and the end of the day and close enough to Hobart for convenience. Property has everything needed for longer term stay.
We had a great stay, amazing weather and really enjoyed the property. The location was perfect as it was near the airport but central for day trips eg. hobart, mt wellington, port arthur. Property was very clean, had great furnishings and decor and we felt very comfortable.
Beautiful picturesque property. Everything you would want in a beach house.
Quiet comfortable and pristine beach not at all busy.
Perfect place if you want to relax.
Property is in a great spot across the road from the beach. A quiet area that you can really relax and spend time at the beach or sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean.
The main bedrooms view from the comfort of your bed is something you will never get sick of.

Great views, good house. No pergola, therefore on a wet day you are tracking water though the house when going in and out. Carport would be better than sail. Pet hair under lounges and sofa. No heater in bedrooms

Not well maintained
Unfortunately this wasn’t a very good place to stay but was an excellent location across the road from the beach. The oven and cooktop weren’t working, the septic system alarm went off every time a toilet was flushed or any water went down a drain including overnight, and various other minor issues. No one came to look at the problems until 2 days later in the afternoon when it was too late to do anything about the problems so for the price we payed we are less than happy to say the least.

Thankyou for the review Karen, however you are the first guest to make such comments and we've had over 100 reviews across many booking platforms. A majority of our reviews are 5/5 stars. As you were aware there was an electrical issue related to the oven switch, which has since been repaired. This was not predictable or within our control, and unfortunately happened during your stay. The septic alarm system sounded because you flushed items down that you were not supposed to, and totally ignored our signage in the bathroom.
Great location - check review for comments re 3rd bedroom
The house was lovely and clean and has a fantastic location.
Unfortunately we needed to use the 3rd bedroom with the sofa bed / trundle for our two kids. We were only provided with linen for one bed, not both. I queried this with the property host and was given extra sheets, but not an extra doona and it was quite cold. There were no extra pillows so we had to take them from other rooms. There was a spare doona in a cupboard but it looked a bit dusty to use. I washed blankets to use to make sure linen was clean. But most critically, the sofa bed was missing at least 5 slats. My daughter kept falling through and I contacted the host about this. I was told that they were aware of the problem as other guests had broken them. They said they would try and fix it for us but didn’t. It was not fixed for the 5 nights we stayed. It was 5 uncomfortable nights for my daughter. We had friends and family in the other beds so had no options. Disappointing they rented it too us knowing we would use the bed and knowing it was a problem. I would definitely check with the host that this problem has been fixed before booking if you are wanting to use the sofa bed / single bed room.

Thanks for your review Kathryn. We're not always aware of use of beds with variable guest numbers, however understand your concern in regards to the sofa bed. We have now sourced replacement slat for the bed, which unfortunately was damaged by a previous guest. We're sorry this couldn't be resolved during your stay.
Matt's home is spacious, clean and perfect for our (adult) family! The master bedroom views are nothing short of spectacular! Plenty of room for cooking, dining & playing board games. Fantastic location! Would definitely recommend. (the only thing missing was a broom!)
