Excellent traditional experience

It was an excellent traditional experience, we had the freedom of having our own place to stay while getting to see how a traditional Japanese family may live. Our only issue was that it was difficult to find, every night we came home. Difficult to find even while using gps. Overall, our experience was phenomenal and we are so blessed to have had the opportunity.

Property itself was gorgeous and we are so glad we stayed there. We did cut our stay there short as the location was very different than what is put on the listing. We moved to a hotel closer to our friends for the rest of our stay. Was also very hard to find due to the location being not where it actually is

Genuine traditional Japanese home

A genuine traditional Japanese home experience which meant tatami mats on the floor and no chairs. Beautiful silk ceiling and traditional sliding doors and a small Zen garden were wonderful touches. All the necessary amenities were available. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom facilities are modern and the washing machine was appreciated. Wifi worked great in the morning but slower at night. Extremely pleased with our stay. A very memorable experience.

Nice traditionnal house

The biggest con with this stay was that there was air conditionning only in one of the two bedrooms (with the one unequipped being on the sunny side of the house, so it warmed up very quickly). This forced our group to sleep with the bedroom doors open since the temperature in the 2nd bedroom quickly became insufferable. Otherwise, the apartment has a nice japanese feel. (We also had an issue with the adress that was given and ended up far from the airbnb using google maps), so we would recommend guests to ask for the gps adress of the airbnb instead)

Casa típica japonesa, te hace vivir la experiencia. Muy espaciosa. Si es cierto que cuesta un poco acostumbrarse a la casa si eres occidental o si usualmente sueles quedarte en hoteles. Pero al final te acostumbras y se vuelve hasta acogedora. Tiene aire y calefacción y las camas son cómodas. Destacaría que estaba un poco polvorienta y que tienes que salir al jardín para ir al baño o ducharte, lo cual, si duermes arriba, es un poco incómodo, pero nada que no te termines por acostumbras.

La struttura è una casa tradizionale, si vede che ha i suoi anni ma è in ottime condizioni. Essendo stato il nostro primo soggiorno in un abitazione simile abbiamo fatto un po' di fatica ad abituarci in quanto il bagno si trova all'esterno e la casa può risultare un po' fredda. Detto questo tutto era in ordine ed è stato facile parlare col proprietario.

Großzügige Ferienwohnung in Kyoto

Die Ferienwohnung an sich war im japanischen Stil, hatte alles notwendige und war recht großzügig. Jedoch gab es leider einige negative Punkte: Die Lage der Ferienwohnung war in einem komplett anderen Bereich der Stadt, wie ursprünglich auf der Homepage angekündigt (angekündigt im Norden der Stadt, jedoch im Süden gelegen). Dies klärte sich jedoch bei der Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer. Allerdings gab es keine ausreichende Beschreibung der Anfahrt bzw. die Adresse war nicht verständlich, so dass wir erst nach langem Suchen und Unterstützung von Ortskundigen das Haus gefunden hatten. Die Toilette und das Bad befinden sich im Außenbereich des kleinen Innenhofs, was aus der Beschreibung so nicht draus hervorgeht. Dann gab es Probleme mit der Waschmaschine. Dabei war die Kommunikation und die Reaktion der Besitzer oder der Agentur nicht ideal. Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, das Haus war ok, wenn man eine Toilette im Hof akzeptieren kann. Jedoch die Kommunikation mit Besitzer oder Agentur ist absolut verbesserungswürdig.

Maison Kyoto

Grande maison dans Kyoto. Plusieurs arrêts de bus à proximité. Nous sommes restés 6 nuits dans ce logement. Tout est fourni, cuisiné équipé. La maison est un peu vide mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé. Je conseille ce logement.
