Our stay in Crested Butte was excellent. The condo was clean and comfortable. It was easily accessible via the elevator and stairs. All the information for check in and check out was provided in a timely fashion. Towards the end of our stay, a large winter storm was forecast that would have made it almost impossible for us to travel home safely. Fortunately, the condo was available for two more days and the host was very easy to work with so that we could extend our stay. I highly recommend this location!
Perfect condo, perfect location, perfect owner. Easy check-in and check-out. Great owner and perfect sized for the family when skiing at Crested Butte.
First of all, the host was super great with communication and check in was a breeze. The unit was nice, clean, and exactly what we needed. Staff at the lodge were nice and informative with questions about things locally. Location is perfect for skiing/snowboarding. We are definitely looking forward to returning and renting with this host.
The Grand has a great location about a 5 minute walk from the lifts. The ski valet both at the hotel and the mountain is nice. The room was clean and roomy, and with the crock pot and single burner stove we were able to make a pot of chili to last a couple of days for lunches. Robin was super helpful as a hostess.

Thank you for the great review and reading the discripitions/photos
Condo is very conveniently located and has everything necessary. Check in process was very easy. We did not experienced any problems while staying. Our dogs were obviously happy too:-) The only possible complaint is that it is a bit "tired" and is in need of some renovations.
Multiple DOGS BARKING all day/night in the hotel :(
If not for the DOGS BARKING all day/night it's a great location, easy access to the lifts, and we had a nice room. If there had not been multiple dogs in the hotel barking I would have given this 4 or 5 stars.

Michelle, thank you for the review! Sorry for the barking issue, a rare dog show in town that weekend. The building does have a front desk and security to take of these types of issues if contacted.
This was a nice hotel style room with mini kitchen.
Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions the pool and hot tub were unavailable. They looked nice.
Parking was convenient and this unit is on the second floor, it was easy to just use the stairs and park right by the door.
We had a really nice stay and the access to the bus stop and the lifts is fantastic. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We wish the restaurant and bar were open on a consistent basis but I’m assuming that’s due to Covid.

Just OK but great Location
This Grand Lodge is aging with a slight musty odor in the room. There are cracks and peeling paint. The room is an efficiency, so it was crowded even for two adults. You can’t beat the location within a short walk from the base of the ski lifts. The restaurant in the Lodge is Overpriced and severely limited hours. The free town shuttle was a lifesaver to get to restaurants and food shopping.

Darcy, We are sorry the lodge did not live up to your standards. We offer many pictures with descriptions, like "unit is an efficiency condo located in the base area." We are glad you enjoyed our great restaurants in town, as described in the listing. The units were recently painted and we use a costly professional linen company. While the building does have a good restaurant, it does have limited service due to Vail's limited employee issues. Our listing suggests several restaurants at the base area in addition to the free shuttle outside the lodge front door to more in town. Mt. Crested Butte is a great original ski town with limited t-shirt shops and no fast food franchises.
The room was clean, supplies were ample and location is perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Just book through the hotel
This property is in a great location and close to everything. The beds are comfortable and the hotel is nice. The problem with my stay comes with amenities. I looked on other sites and it would have been cheaper just to book a hotel room. There were four of us and only 4 towels and not enough toilet paper. When I called the front desk, they said they could not bring more because they don’t manage the property. Also, the hand soap in the bathroom was 90% water. This is not something I would scale back during a pandemic. The shampoo and conditioner and body wash were also watery. My one towel appeared to have a stain, but on closer inspection was dirt. Another issue is with the property listing that says there are 2 bathrooms when there is only 1. I understand that we didn’t get daily cleaning as a part of the booking, but the lack of other basic things you would expect for this much money were not up to par, especially when it would have been cheaper to just book a hotel room on the same property.

We're sorry that your experience did not live up to your expectations. It's unfortunate that you did not read our welcome packet ahead of your arrival, which explains in detail how this privately-owned condo works, how to get extra towels from our property manager (hint: he stocks extras in your closet) and that if fancy soaps and shampoos are important to the enjoyment of your vacation, you should probably bring your favorites with you. And booking “a hotel room on the same property” would have cost you MORE, as they charge DAILY resort and parking fees. It’s impossible to please everyone (especially during COVID-19); but for a clean, comfortable, dog-friendly unit right at the base of the mountain, we believe we provide great value for the price!
Great little studio for those traveling with a dog
This studio condo-tel was spotlessly clean. It’s a short (maybe 200 yards?) walk from the base area, restaurants, coffee, etc.
Robin, the booking agent, was super friendly and easy to work with.
We had a blast; and even extended our stay one night as we lucked into the unit being open.
