The Space:
The Grand Lodge Overview
3-star property of individually owned condos. There is no longer a front desk at the Grand Lodge but we are readily available to respond to our guests!
Pros
+ Prime Location: Less than an 5-minute walk to the base of the ski resort, passing by a coffee shop and restaurants.
+ Great Amenities: Wi-Fi, ski storage, ski shuttle, fitness center, pool, hot tub
+ Indoor/outdoor pool and large hot tub—clean and well-maintained.
+ Spacious full private bedroom.
Cons
- Building Management: Managed by a separate company that controls amenities; they may close amenities without notice.
- Older Building: Rooms show some wear but are kept very clean.
- No Air Conditioning: Rooms have heat but no air conditioning.
Overall: The Grand Lodge is ideal if you prioritize location and convenience, but it may not meet 5-star expectations.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the condo and Grand Lodge amenities. The Grand Lodge has a Pool, Hot Tub, Gym, Steam room, free parking (guests are given one parking pass per room), EV charging and is in the perfect location to Mt. Crested Butte.
The Neighborhood:
We are a short distance from the town of Crested Butte where Elk Avenue provides a great place to shop, dine, visit historic buildings and art galleries.
The area offers outdoor activities in all seasons! It is a great place to enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, and snowshoeing.
The Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport is a 45-minute drive from the Grand Lodge. Landmarks and attractions are easily accessible and the resort is just a 5 min walk away!
Getting Around:
Most Guests bring their car to get around (we have a free parking lot with EV charging), but there are shuttles to get around if you'd prefer!

This property is NOT pet friendly.
Please be aware that the Grand Lodge pool and hot tub will be closed starting April 8, 2024 for about a week for necessary preventative maintenance work.
This property does not have air conditioning.
Please note: we do not do daily linen service like a traditional hotel (this is Airbnb style). However, if you'd like a turnover to be done during your stay, please give us a 24 notice so we can coordinate with the cleaner. There is an extra cost for this, which is $100.
-This unit is NOT pet friendly. Only floors 1 & 2 are pet friendly. You may see pets on the 4th and 5th floors, however if an owner is staying in their unit, then they are allowed to have a pet (this is the buildings policy and has nothing to do with Traverse Hospitality ).
-Heating is controlled by a thermostat on the wall of the living room.
