This VRBO is great. We've stayed in a lot of places over the years and this one was one of the best. The bed is comfortable, the place was really clean, the host is easy to deal with and thoughtful. Simple things that make life easier are taken care of, like: all the light switches are labeled and the check out is really simple. The location is sublime. Do be aware that you're out of the town of GJ by about 20 minutes and that there are quite a few stairs leading to the front door. Being on the second floor (above a storage garage, I believe--no one lives below) gives the glorious feeling of being in a treehouse; but the steps were a bit much for my elderly mom.) Even though it was really hot in the valley (106F), the evaporative cooler and the cellular shades did an effective job of keeping the place cool. This is a really good place to stay and I'd book it again in a heartbeat.
Beautiful property with incredible vistas! The property was spotless, well maintained and had a very complete kitchen. We would highly recommend the property and look forward to staying here again!
This place was just fantastic. Walking up to that deck the first time brings a sense of awe, looking up to the nearby plateaus and overlooking the peach trees that go on for miles. The house was nice as well, comfortable living room, nice kitchen with plenty of tools for a home cook. The central access of this location as well puts you right in the center of the action with easy main road access to downtown and the wineries. I can't wait to come back in the summer and see the peaches actually growing and maybe benefit from being able to sit out on the porch!
This property is stunning! The 360 views are incredible and the deck is massive. The location is ideal of being somewhat hidden and faraway enough to have some solitude, but still close enough to go to all the wineries and enjoy Palisade/Grand Junction. The house is spacious and clean, tons of appliances and supplies. The fan is a little noisy in the double bed bedroom and be prepared for bees outside as it is on a farm. I will definitely be coming back!
We had a 5 night , girls trip , at this beautiful property . The first thing I said when I pulled up was “ this looks EXACTLY like the pictures .” House was easy to find with GPS. . (We drove straight to it .) Inside was clean and nicely updated . Beds were comfortable and showers were always nice and hot . In the past , I’ve stayed at places where hot water will run out if everyone showers in the morning . Not the case here . Everyone we ran in to ( town and the neighborhood ) were very friendly ! Since returning home I’ve actually been looking at realistate in palisades . That’s how much we enjoyed our stay . Thank you, to Joe , for all his tips and excellent communication ❤️ Would love to stay again!
Can’t say enough about this property and its location. It’s a few minutes walk to the Colorado River and is surrounded by beautiful orchards. There are neighbors but they are a comfortable distance away, giving this property a secluded or exclusive feel. We loved the wrap around porch! We sat outside at night and enjoyed a nice canyon breeze along with dark skies perfect for star gazing. I should have brought my telescope.
The inside of the house is new and modern and the owners thought of everything. My wife told me I hit a home run this weekend planning our small escape from the kids. We will be back!
