A comfortable, updated and spacious 2nd home. Located INSIDE THE ACCESS ROAD and under 1/2 of a mile from the front door of the Main Base Lodge of Mount Snow, be on the slopes in minutes! It will take you longer to load everyone in the car than it will to drive down the hill and around the corner! This seven bedroom house is perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends or a week-long family reunion.

This seven bedroom house comfortably sleeps groups up to 16 in beds. All beds, no pullouts or futons. Bring everyone on your vacation together in the spacious great room, which includes a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, and living area under an 18-foot cathedral ceiling or relax in one of the house's other spacious living areas. Choose from the den, living room, second living room or elevated deck overlooking the backyard. Make use of the fire pit that offer ample seating for your group or hop in the 8 person hot tub.

In the main living room there is a 75 Inch smart TV with 72+ channels where you can use your Netflix, Hulu or Amazon. Downstairs is a 50 inch TV with cable and app access as well. There is air hockey, foosball, arcade machines and wood-burning fireplace. The outdoor deck with table, chairs, seating area and a gas grill is available spring, summer and fall.

Each arriving guest starts off with paper towels, bath tissue, hand soaps at every sink, dish soap, trash bags and dish tabs, usually enough for a long weekend.

The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need. No bare bones kitchen in this house like you might find in your typical rental! Among other items, the kitchen has two regular 14 cup coffee makers and a Kurig to make that morning cup of Joe a snap. Plenty of pots and pans to help cook for your large group, kitchen gadgets, pancake griddle, crock pot (to make your favorite chili on a cold winter day!) dishwasher and plenty of plates, bowls, glasses and mugs to go around! A second refrigerator & stove on the lower level come in handy when trying to feed your large group!

If going out is more your speed, there are bars and restaurants in the area. There are several grocery stores in the area as well.

Great spacious home well located

Wonderful home and responsive host. Enough king beds for 5 couples and plenty of space for kids to sleep and play. The house is well located, just 3 mins from mount snow and well equipped with all kitchen necessities and a great hot tub.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The house was beautiful and clean. We loved how peaceful and spacious the house was. Only a small issue with some ants but not a deal breaker. Would definitely recommend this property. We even had a mother bear and cubs wander through yhe back yard. Beautiful!

Very nice and large house near Mount Snow

Beautiful house about 5 minutes drive from the main entrance to Mount Snow. There was plenty of room for 13 of us. Lots of things to do inside for all ages. We had a great time.

Mt Snow ski trip

This house was everything that we needed and more for our stay with our group of parents and kids. Easy access to the mountain for skiing and plenty of space after to relax and unwind. The hot tub was great and the kids loved the video games and having their own space.

Great Presidents Day Getaway

This property delivered! More than enough room for our family and friends with a lot to keep kids occupied with 3 different living areas, games, hot tub etc. Owner was very quick to respond with any question I had. House is so close to the mountain too!

Perfect group getaway

We really loved the house! It was spacious, the kitchen was well equipped and the beds were super confortable. We had a lot of fun with the arcades, table soccer, ping pong table and of course the spa. I absolutely would go back.

Wonderful ski vacation

We absolutely loved this house. The pictures do not do it justice. So much room for everyone. The proximity to Mount Snow cannot be beat. The owner was extremely communicative and helpful. We have already rented for next year!

Awesome Ski House!

We were a group of 4 families staying for a long ski weekend. The house was great, just as pictured and had a ton of space. We loved the big open kitchen/dining/living room space, lots of room to hang out and watch the Superbowl. Very close to Mt Snow (2 in drive) which was great for skiing. We had a decent snowstorm while there and were plowed out very quickly. The host was very responsive and easy to work with - we will definitely be back!

Why they chose this property

My extended family of friends and I are all very close. Some of us have been friends since grade school, some from middle school, and the rest from high school. After everyone went away to college most of us returned home and picked up right where our friendships left off. Every winter since high school we have always done our annual “friends ski trip”.
In 2008 we began staying at this house and fell in love the moment we walked in. Every year we always talked about how great it would be to own a ski house of our own (or this one) where we could always go as a group and spend quality time together. After staying at houses and condos all over Vermont, mainly at Mt Snow, Stratton and Okemo, this house was our favorite.
Early 2011 saw the tragic loss of one of our best friends who was killed by a drunk driver. Our friend Dave was vibrant, smart, funny, was always bringing people together, was always smiling and loved to snowboard among other things. Dave was part of our group from the very beginning and a fixture on any ski & board trip.
One of Dave’s newest ventures that he was very excited about was to purchase a rental property with his soon to be fiancé just outside of Boston and as he told us, “begin to create his empire” At the time of Dave’s passing he had an accepted offer and was waiting to close.
In the spirit of Dave and his “empire” I decided “why not buy the house we always talked about and secure a place for me and my friends to come to year after year…. A place we all loved, and a place we have all shared so many great memories!” Calls were made, deals were struck and as they say, the rest was history!
