In the addition to the 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, our home also features: extra game room with sleeper sofa and kitchenette, two large decks with hot tub, tow fireplaces, two car garage with heated yoga studio which doubles as one of the four bedrooms with a futon, couch, ping pong table and sink below. Just minutes from Heavenly Valley Ski Area, our beautiful and accommodating home is the perfect fall, winter, spring, summer rental (mIn 30 days) for your family or friends who want the flexibility of getting away to the mountains anytime.

Beautiful house but treacherous stairs & dead mice

The house its beautiful and the views of Lake Tahoe are stupendous. The photographs of the individual rooms on VRBO are fairly accurate. However, not shown is that to move from one area of the house (even on the same floor) requires navigation of stairs.... a lot of stairs. In particular, to go to the kitchen / dinning room/ living room floor from the bed room floor requires navigation of a full flight of hard wood stairs. These stairs are very slippery and unfortunately my wife took a fall on the stairs and broke her leg. When requiring people to not wear shoes, I would suggest having anti-slip strips on said stairs. The VRBO listing did not provide any photos of all of the stairs. There were also at least two dead mice that had been left there for quite some time (one was oozing on to the "new" carpet). Great views!
