Great location!

The condo was nice, but the view of the ocean from the lanai off the living room made it truly special. Having a drink while watching the sunset over the water was absolutely wonderful. Easy walk to everything. Very nice place. Would rent again.

Beautiful location!

Ocean front condo! Enjoyed the lanai. Great views! Kitchen was sparse with dishes and silverware. Could have used a bit more. Everything was clean and worked well.

Convenient location

Great location. Enjoyed the constant sound of the waves.Enjoyed watching the surfers daily. Easy walk to downtown with multiple restaurants serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Right on the water

Great location right at the waters edge. We spent late afternoon watching the surfers from the patio. Easy walk to the restaurants and bars in Kona. We enjoyed eating dinner on the patio which is good sized.

Great location

Beautiful view. Saw whales, dolphins, turtles. Explored the tide pools at low tide. Enjoyed watching the surfers. Great location and everything within a mile of easy walking to shops and restaurants in Kona. Farmers market had lots of fresh ripe fruit. Quiet except for the ocean waves (they were loud). Unit was nice and we had everything we needed.

Amazing sunsets

Property is just as advertised. Right on the water. Beautiful sunsets. Walking distance to many amenities in Kona. Unit is stocked with all you need.

Lovely condo with 10 star view!

The condo was perfect for our week visit to the Big Island- convenient to walk to local restaurants and shops but also easy drive to gorgeous beaches, snorkeling and cool hiking. But we found it hard to leave the large, private balcony overlooking the ocean - absolutely the best view we've ever had, just a few feet away! We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

Excellent location

We walked downtown for lunch, shopping and dinner. Hon'l beach next door is a delight. We took the beach chairs and umbrella to the beach a few times. The kitchen facilities all work great. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the morning and the evening.

AMAZING

This place is so amazing! The view was spectacular including the gorgeous sunsets AND moonsets. The sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep every night. It’s very centrally located so we were able to see many sites on the island. It had all the amenities we needed and the pool area has several BBQs. My fiancé proposed to me on the lanai just after a beautiful sunset so this with always have a special place in my heart! Can’t wait to come back!!

Kona Dream Condo

Great location and condo complex

The neighbors are fun at the pool. The parking is great and the spots are huge for any size vehicle. Location is perfect. Ocean view is almost in your living room. The little beach next door is beautiful. The owner is very nice. We will be back. This is the best island.

Absolutely loved the view right on the water from the front deck. Enjoyed the location: such a short walk to Kona town Went to a luau at Royal Kona, which is a short walk from there Enjoyed the unit except the floor was very very dirty.

great location nice unit nice amenities quiet comfortable great ocean view.

mattress is terrible-soft and mushy, needs to be replaced. bedding sheets non cotton material not great. Incredibly cheap to have only 2 SMALL rolls of toilet paper. Check in at 4 PM is kind of late, a bit earlier would be nice.

The perfect place for a Kona stay!

My husband and I truly loved our stay at the Kona Reef. There was terrific parking and it was in walking distance to everything in Kona. The salt water pool was lovely and the ocean views were amazing. We slept with the sliding glass door open and the sound of the ocean. We never really turned the air conditioner on, the ocean breezes were so lovely. If I get the opportunity to visit Kona again, I will definitely try to stay there again!

Holiday Getaway

The unit was very clean and had a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. The complex was mostly quiet and everyone was very friendly. The location is great. Walking into town for restaurants, shopping etc. To walk into town, walk down the access road and follow it past Hugo's and On the Rocks. Much easier than walking on the highway.

The Stay

Did not receive my checkin code until 9 Pm and it’s supposed to be a 4 o’clock check in, washing machine is only plumbed to cold water and the dryer is programmed to the lowest heat setting so we had to dry our clothes 4 or 5 times . The unit was very clean and the view is amazing . We would absolutely stay again .

Just ok

We have stayed at Kona Reef many times. We love the location and ability to walk to shops/restaurants. This particular condo was clean and for the most part met expectations. For something in this price range, I would have expected the kitchen to be better equipped. Bathroom had no soap. AC unit in main room, bedroom can be warm.
