Right on the water

Great location right at the waters edge. We spent late afternoon watching the surfers from the patio. Easy walk to the restaurants and bars in Kona. We enjoyed eating dinner on the patio which is good sized.

Great location

Beautiful view. Saw whales, dolphins, turtles. Explored the tide pools at low tide. Enjoyed watching the surfers. Great location and everything within a mile of easy walking to shops and restaurants in Kona. Farmers market had lots of fresh ripe fruit. Quiet except for the ocean waves (they were loud). Unit was nice and we had everything we needed.

My husband and I stayed in Kona at this delightful condo. We loved the location and the condo was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. We will definitely stay again.

The Stay

Did not receive my checkin code until 9 Pm and it’s supposed to be a 4 o’clock check in, washing machine is only plumbed to cold water and the dryer is programmed to the lowest heat setting so we had to dry our clothes 4 or 5 times . The unit was very clean and the view is amazing . We would absolutely stay again .

Wonderful except cleaning requirements

The condo was marvelous. The view was outstanding. We greatly enjoyed the place. Definitely recommend this property. But, we paid $180 cleaning fee. When we arrived we were told we would be charged a cleaning fee if we did not wash all the towels and put away all washed dishes. There were only four sets of dishes and flatware. We only had four forks. We could not fill the dishwasher because there were not enough dishes to fill it. The books were extremely dusty when we arrived. I was surprised they threated a second cleaning fee. We had to be at the airport at 5:30 and having to put dishes away to avoid further cleaning fees was a bit over the top.

OUTSTANDING!!!

This is an excellent beachfront property in an incredible setting, where the pleasing sound and view of the surf is just a few feet in front of you, 24/7. Along with offering amenities everyone else has - such as beds, electricity and running water - the owner provides numerous additional, thoughtful amenities we valued, including air conditioning (which is appreciated given the western exposure), pub-height chairs on the balcony so we could easily see the awesome scenery over the railing (including beautiful, romantic sunsets every night), high-quality binoculars (which helped us see whales and many turtles), cable tv in the bedroom (along with cable tv in the living area), two nice beach chairs & boogie boards we were happy to use at Hapuna Beach, a small cooler (perfect for a holding a few cold drinks and a sub sandwich for our day at the beach), a first-aid kit that was needed a couple times during our stay, and ceiling fans that helped circulate the cool air. This condo has been nicely updated, including a tile floor, stone counters, new plumbing fixtures, and an updated bathroom. We had much more than we expected at the condo, making it thoroughly enjoyable. The condo complex offers several gas grills, which were very clean and easy to use, along with a nice hot tub, pool, and tables and chairs that were never too crowded to use. NET: If you're reading this and still considering other condos or properties to rent in Kona, just stop already and rent this one. You will be pleased.

A great location in walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. The bedroom is quite bright at night due to lights outside, so we needed sleep masks to sleep. The view from the lanai is beautiful and you can watch the sunset from it.

Beautiful location!

Ocean front condo! Enjoyed the lanai. Great views! Kitchen was sparse with dishes and silverware. Could have used a bit more. Everything was clean and worked well.

Great location!

The condo was nice, but the view of the ocean from the lanai off the living room made it truly special. Having a drink while watching the sunset over the water was absolutely wonderful. Easy walk to everything. Very nice place. Would rent again.

AMAZING

This place is so amazing! The view was spectacular including the gorgeous sunsets AND moonsets. The sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep every night. It’s very centrally located so we were able to see many sites on the island. It had all the amenities we needed and the pool area has several BBQs. My fiancé proposed to me on the lanai just after a beautiful sunset so this with always have a special place in my heart! Can’t wait to come back!!

Lovely condo with 10 star view!

The condo was perfect for our week visit to the Big Island- convenient to walk to local restaurants and shops but also easy drive to gorgeous beaches, snorkeling and cool hiking. But we found it hard to leave the large, private balcony overlooking the ocean - absolutely the best view we've ever had, just a few feet away! We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

mattress is terrible-soft and mushy, needs to be replaced. bedding sheets non cotton material not great. Incredibly cheap to have only 2 SMALL rolls of toilet paper. Check in at 4 PM is kind of late, a bit earlier would be nice.

We walked downtown for lunch, shopping and dinner. Hon'l beach next door is a delight. We took the beach chairs and umbrella to the beach a few times. The kitchen facilities all work great. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the morning and the evening.

Amazing view.

The view and the sounds of the ocean can not be beat. The pool area is very nice but could do with more umbrellas. Easy 5 minute walk to town. Mattress is comfortable. The unit could do with some updating and more dishes and cookware. Also the patio furniture is functional but needs new cushions. We did experience a couple of roaches while we were there. I’m assuming this comes with the island experience and there was bug spray available. Overall a relaxing and view filled stay.
