We stayed here for the Daytona race weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The house was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. It was in a great location and made our whole trip easy and enjoyable.Kenneth was an incredible host. He actually met us at the property, personally showed us around, and made sure we were settled in and comfortable. He was super attentive and responsive the entire stay, which we really appreciated during a busy race weekend.

Amazing property rich in history with incredible decor. Owner was the perfect host; very friendly and communicative. Speak easy downstairs was something to experience. I cannot wait to visit again!!

Amazing Find!!!!

The host was great; he communicated well before and during our stay and gave a great history lesson on the area and the house. The house was perfect for our group, with lots of space to hang out and relax. There were a handful of Bars and restaurants within walking distance. Everyone in my group was very impressed with the house. Next time I'm in Daytona, I know where I'll be staying.

On the Band Played On

The house was beautiful and very clean. It is a historic home and the owner did an exceptional job of restoring it. However, we thought that we would have access to the entire house but were told when we arrived that someone else would be staying in the upstairs and that there was a jazz club on the floor below. The band played until midnight Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the house was located in a not so desirable location. I feel that we would not have chosen the Hunt House had the owner made these things known to us when we elected to stay there. I hope the owner will let the next renters aware of this before they commit.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:-The historic charm of the house is something we're proud of, and we're glad you appreciated the restoration efforts.-The listing specifies that the home is located in downtown Daytona Beach and includes photos of all areas available to guests.-We list prior to booking that there would be another bookable vacation rentals on site and that a bar operates on the floor below with it's operating hours. -We'll ensure that future guests are fully aware of the shared space and neighborhood details before booking.Thank you for your insight, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!

Mr. Hunt was extremely welcoming! He gave us the history of the house as well as his account of each room and the decor history. You will NOT find another house like this one that hold a large family. The renovation was done tastefully and beautifully. So much character!! The beds are comfortable, plenty of HOT water, lots of essentials for cooking, and the jazz pub attached is an added bonus! The house is walking distance to restaurants and a coffee shop. There is on street parking and a lot across the street. Super convenient. Our family of 12 rented the house for an event at the Daytona Speedway, the house is only a few miles from there and also super close to the beach! I highly recommend this house to anyone! We will be booking again for next year and look forward to seeing the restaurant he is adding, being completed. Location, host, and house A+++++

Awesome spot

The house is gorgeous and full of history. Kenneth the property manager/owner is by far the best I have ever dealt with. I fully endorse using this spot for any kind of retreat. We used it for bike week and I will say this every time I come to Daytona this is the place I will stay.

The perfect place for our stay in Daytona FL

The property mngr was so awesome. The communication from property mngr was outstanding. Our plane was delayed so we arrived very late in the evening and the property mngr was available once we arrived. He gave a great history lesson about the property and the area. The property was just enough space for our group of 12 and it was very close to all of our attractions and amenities. If we’re ever in Daytona FL again, we will definitely use this property.
