Family getaway

Ideal location for a large family or friends. Plenty of room, dog -friendly and you might even get a visit from some cockatoos and rosellas. Highly recommended.

Stay on the Great Ocean Road

We had a wonderful time staying at the property. It was quiet and there was enough room for all the guests. We had a bit of trouble checking in due to the fact that we could not open the front door. After we figured it out we had a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay at 'Tree Top Getaway'. A nice, quiet location with resident birds visiting and still near town. Everything we needed was there and in great condition. Great base to explore the Great Ocean Road and surrounds from!

Lovely, peaceful location. You know its going to be a special place as soon as you get to the top gate and see the secluded oasis that waits.Highly recommend for anyone wanting to holiday with their pets

A terrific getaway for two families

Tranquil retreat with gorgeous outlook

We had a wonderful break at Treetop Getaway. Bec was amazing with her communication responding to any query straight away. The home was equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay including plenty of wood for the open fire which was necessary as we had very chilly days. Beds were comfy and the two levels made for ample space for our two teenagers. We would stay again. Thanks Bec!

Anglesea nature

The house was great. Lovely deck amongst the treetops. Birds visited daily. It was very well set up with everything we needed. Bec was great to deal with. It was a little tricky for my elderly family as the drive was gravel and a bit steep. Also for them the furniture was a bit low, fine for we younger ones. Overall we were very happy with the house.

Wonderful!

We had an amazing long weekend stay. The open fireplace was a lovely place to relax and be cosy on the chilly winter evenings. There was a good supply of fire wood which and the house was well equipped which was very appreciated. Beds were comfy. Our son enjoyed having the unit downstairs to himself, great little amenity for older teens. It was also greatly appreciated that we could bring our little dog to enjoy the weekend geataway. The dog bed and bowls were a lovely touch. Thankyou!

Nice deck, but otherwise a bit disappointing

Overall, we had a nice stay. The house is nestled in a lovely spot and the deck is surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife. There were, however a number of practicalities that let the experience down. There were no fans in the upstairs bedrooms, making for a stuffy night’s sleep. The roller blind was broken in the smaller upstairs bedroom, making it impossible to get any airflow through the window. There were no hooks in any of the bedrooms for hanging towels. There were not enough tea towels for the length of our stay. The external recycling bin was already overflowing when we arrived.

Comfortable and relaxing

Great property and great hosts. The property is beautiful, with a great deck - which would have been used more if the weather was nice. The separate access for upstairs and downstairs was ok for our kids, but not great if you had younger children (<5). However it was great to have separate living areas when the kids were noisy and we wanted some space!! Beds were comfortable and warm, and kitchen was well appointed. The only issue is that the sofa bed seems to be broken and saggy (which wasn’t a problem for the 6 year old, but might have been an issue if someone older was using it). The property is dog friendly and ours enjoyed his stay. There are no fences on one side of the property so you need to watch out if your dog is a wanderer!! The neighbours were very kind and tolerant of a stray friendly dog wandering into their yards! Very responsive communication for the very minor questions we had during our stay. Overall a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Would highly recommend!

Serene retreat

I'd just like to thankyou for sharing your little piece of paradise with us😃 it was exactly as promoted online. The parrots arriving each morning and. feeding from your hand was a highlight for us all and in particular our youngest. The kangaroos greeting us on the front lawn each evening was special and the cockatoo settling on the balcony rail was a delight. Our dog Miley ❤️d the cosy bed you had provided for her and the teenagers enjoyed the privacy of their own quarters downstairs. Thankyou. We all appreciated you allowing us to use provisions in the pantry which was handy for our BBQ and also the candles used for our daughter's birthday! We will return to use the fireplace which looked very enticing and just added to the cosy ambience of the property.....a little too warm to fire it up on this visit! There were lots of places to sit, relax and enjoy the ambience without being on top of each other. The beds comfy, the linen lovely and we'll equipped kitchen. We truly did appreciate your efforts and thankyou for providing a place that will trigger moments of happiness when they recall our visit to Anglesea. Tree tops beach house Anglesea
