Modern coastal 4 BR home sprawling over two spacious levels, culminating in stunning ocean views of the Barwon River, The Bluff and the blue waters of Bass Strait. A fully equipped kitchen with quality appliances and 3 metre dining table that easily allows you to entertain up to 12 people.
4 bedrooms (2 upstairs & 2 downstairs), front lounge and 2 luxurious bathrooms (one with bath and one with spa). Hotel quality towels, linen, pillows & doonas provided. Central heating and split system air conditioning throughout.
Amazing expansive split level decking - perfect for entertaining and relaxing outdoors.
Games room complete with pool , table tennis, darts and TV.
Large garage can accommodate a boat and there is room for up to 4 cars. We know you will feel truly at home staying at our "Castle on the hill"!

Very clean and spacious property. great outdoor area and heaps of condiments etc left in the kitchen for convenience. If I was to be super picky I would have loved if the water pressure was increased a little in the showers, and aircons in the bedrooms especially for the summer months but i'm being incredibly picky with that. Overall we absolutely loved the property and would gladly stay again.

This house was fantastic for what we required, amazing area upstairs and the outside area is perfect. We didn’t use the games room but it would be fantastic if you had teenagers. Communication with the owner was great. Cannot fault this wonderful property.

Our stay at Castle on the Hill was faultless. Communicate with Karen was efficient. The house is so well equipped from beautiful linens, games room, beach stuff etc. The house is so spacious and lovely. Karen even provided a sweet compliment of bottle of wine and chocolates!

We just returned from the most wonderful weekend at Castle on the Hill in Ocean Grove, and we’re already planning our next visit! The home itself is stunning, perched high with breathtaking views, beautifully styled interiors, and a truly unique charm that sets it apart from anywhere else we've stayed.Our family (three generations!) had more than enough space to spread out and relax. The bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was perfectly equipped for big family meals, and the multiple living areas gave everyone their own space to unwind. The outdoor area was a highlight, spacious, private, and perfect for BBQs while watching the sunset over Ocean Grove. It was just a short drive to the beach, shops, and cafes, but honestly, we loved just spending time at the house soaking up the views and enjoying each other’s company.Our hosts were friendly, responsive, and clearly care about making the guest experience special,every little detail was thought of.Castle on the Hill is truly a gem, luxurious yet warm, grand yet welcoming. Highly reccomend for your next family getaway!

Great holiday beach home

Great place. First impressions was lovely place, lovely decor, lovely touches. Everything impressed us with this place. We forgot our bogey boards ... they had them. We forgot to bring beach chairs ... they had them. And we remember most of the other stuff (aeroguard, sun screen, etc. etc.) ... but they had it just in case. Fabulous place for a week stay. Beach, cafes, restaurants, river, ... will definitely stay again!

This is our second time staying here and I didn't think it could get better! The attention to detail is amazing. The house is beautiful and communication couldn't be better. A majestic holiday!

A royal experience was had when we stayed at Karen's lovely property. We were simply in awe of the amazing house, living spaced and views. Was absolutely wonderful to get away and relax on the castle on the hill. We abandoned our plans to go out for dinner and stayed in because it was just too cozy to leave. Thank you so much Karen.
