Room to move with living areas, kitchen and bathroom upstairs and downstairs. Five bedrooms, views from both levels, ideal for families and groups to have their own space. Two TVs with video players ( like the olden days), new kitchen upstairs, table tennis in the shed for rainy days, and combustion heater for cosy winter reading! Wireless internet and upstairs bath - ideal for little people. Fenced for dogs with dog bed provided.

Peaceful Escape

We had a lovely break, the house was just what we needed, comfy beds and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view!

We bought Periwinkles on a weekend away in 2001! Biggest impulse buy ever- but a good one. Our aim has always been to provide family friendly/priced holiday accommodation, and this is a great place for families and groups.

Why they chose this property

Great views, spaces for two generations with two fully functioning levels and plenty of room to spread out when needed. We like a challenge and are slowly modernising some aspects as required. We like to do our own home improvements - but with views, fairy wrens and the beach to relax at the end of the day, it's never a chore (even after 10 days of painting mission brown beams!)

What makes this property unique

The downstairs 'shack feel' with the original carpet and furniture is hard to find in it's original state these days. We love it, and many guests do to. Lots of comments about sharing that sense of 'shack time' with the next generation mean that we'll retain it as long as possible!
