As a well-utilised holiday home for our family, this property is not in perfect condition - and in true Kiwi bach style, it has been added to over the years and sports a slightly unusual layout.

Includes laundry facilities, Wi-Fi , onsite parking, a high chair, portacot and a selection of beach toys, games and books to keep everyone entertained.

🌿Space to relax
The large upper deck is perfect for enjoying tranquil sea views while sipping on your morning coffee, while the fully fenced backyard provides a private space ideal for barbecues and soaking up the sun.

📓Other things to note

Because of the stairs, it might not be the best option for families with toddlers, however, we can provide a baby gate so that they can be safely contained within the living area upstairs.

The house is located in a quiet residential street. We don't allow parties and kindly ask guests to be considerate of our neighbours when it comes to noise levels.

From the house, it's about 25 minutes to Mount Maunganui.

My friends and I had the best time staying here. The location was great, it was super close to the beach with a private gate to the walkway. The views from the lounge were also beautiful. The host was quick to respond and easy to deal with!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location couldn’t be better, with direct access to the beach right from the garden - perfect for early morning swims and walks along the shore. The house itself was clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host was excellent; she went above and beyond by offering us both an early check-in and a late check-out. We were 3 generations enjoying a long-weekend together, and the space worked perfectly for everyone. We were sad to leave. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beachside getaway.

Amazing!!

We had the best weekend at the Big Red Beach Pad! Its so close to the water and yet the property is really securely fenced so there was no anxiety about little ones roaming around the property. The kids spent the whole time either playing in the backyard or down at the beach swimming. This is the perfect place for family get away and we will definitely be back.

A Perfect and Rad Papamoa Beach house.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Amy's Pad. It looked exactly like the photos and was immaculate. Amy was a very welcoming host and quick to respond to our communication. The beach was easily accessible through the side gate and down the path, and the house had everything we needed. I would definitely love to stay at Amy's house again in the future.

Excellent location and house for a family catch up

This bach is perfect for a family gathering, with lots of bedrooms and space for each group. The kitchen is very well presented - I especially loved that they have provided the kitchen basics such as oil, salt pepper etc. The living area is perfect for evenings playing cards and chatting. And the beach is very close so we got up early to see the sunrise, and had swims and long walks on the beach. It was a perfect weekend with family. Thank you!

Great place close to the beach.

We enjoyed our stay here. There were 4 of us. We took advantage of being so close to the beach and made use of it a couple of times. You have to drive to the center of town for restaurants and services, but it's not far. The bedrooms and beds were very good - comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped but the frying pans need a refresh. All the necessary kitchenware and appliances were provided. We cooked some meals at the house and had some out. we enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to others.

Amazing

Perfect for all of us. We had three families stay. 6 adults, 1 child and 3 toddlers. Rooms spaced out enough so each toddler could rest peacefully. Great lounge area next to the kitchen for us all to chill in. Such a quick walk to the beach (which we spent most our time at). Great for splashing in the surf and building sand castles. Will definitely be looking at another holiday here soon.

A Family Treasure

We had a great stay in a perfect family spot, just down the walkway from the beach. Well set up holiday home with lots of little extras. Warm and cozy in the windy, wet weather with glorious views from the upstairs rooms. Our host was amazing to communicate with and went out of her way to ensure we had an amazing time and everything we needed.

Christmas holiday

We spent a few days here over Christmas. The house was beautiful, clean, and big enough to fit our whānau. It had everything we needed. More than enough towels, bbq, washing machine and boogie boards etc. The host was absolutely lovely to deal with and even left us a big bar whittakers on arrival. 😊 We’d love to go back next summer!!

Awesome property! Close to the beach (seconds away), some restaurants, very clean and had all the essential items available for use. Amy the host was easy to deal with and had great communication. Amy even very kindly put some groceries away for us that arrived early, thank you! Epic house on the beach!!

Host was so awesome and accomodating. Every question we had when we were staying was answered promptly. Such a great experience staying at the property. A real beach house but with everything that you need. Was great for our kids and our whole family. Everything was exceptionally clean and great water pressure in the showers!! Would definitely go back.
