Make your vacation memories in this upscale 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom duplex. "Mom's Merriment" offers partial ocean views, two decks, a patio, and a shared pool with the adjoining unit with plenty of room to relax!

There are two luxurious King bedrooms, a bedroom with a Queen bed and the fourth bedroom has two Twin beds. The second level hosts an open design of the living room, dining area, and well equipped kitchen that is perfect for gatherings and family dinners. The kitchen has been completely remodeled and the entire unit is waiting to become your family retreat.

"Mom's Merriment" has everything you will need for your vacation and one you will want to return to every year! For larger family groups that would like to be close to one another please ask about renting the adjoining unit, "Maritime Merriment", for a total of 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms!

While vacationing in Carolina Beach, be sure to check out the Boardwalk area, where you will find shops, restaurants and the summer activities such as fireworks, carnival rides and live music. Watch the fishermen come in with the catch of the day at the marina or dine out with the family. Only a few miles south to the Fort Fisher Historic Museum, the Civil War battleground and the NC Aquarium. Make plans to visit Carolina Beach today!

*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. For more detailed information on specific pools, please feel free to contact our office.

Property was close walk to the beach, Pool needed cleaning, No bathroom on family room floor had to go up or down.

Beach Trip

Overall was good. We had to keep killing water roaches inside the house every night. There is a rusted piece of some type of metal coming out of the ground, outside near the grill, that my son didn't see and cut his foot on. I had to take him to get a Dtap shot. Besides that, it was a good stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were lucky to be able to fit all families into the two units. I especyliked the crossover balcony. The stairs were a definite problem. I was told after expressly asking that the two bedrooms were street level. They were not! We will not go back to this house again. Also one bedroom had a major investation of ants causing the couple to have to sleep on the couch. The problem was remedied immediately,.👍

One minor maintenance request was reported through the app at night and taken care of efficiently and promptly the next day. The pool and balconies are shared/open to those renting the unit next door, and the pool was mostly in the shade. Many stairs to climb inside the house, but that was no problem for our group. Furnishings are updated, charming and comfortable (although the master bedroom mattress was quite firm, for our taste). Very satisfied with Bryant Real Estate’s efficiency, help and responsiveness. Check-in and checkout were easy with a keypad, emails and the app. Would definitely rent again. Thank you!

When someone try to take a shower in third level water started pouring from air vents my family and I had to leave a day early because of that issue.

Hi Claudia, You again have our sincere apologies for the issues you experienced with the plumbing. This owner had that bathroom remodeled over the winter and something was not connected properly. Having only tested it with one person for the past month, the issue did not occur until your family arrived. It has now been fully repaired. As you know, we have refunded you the entire rental amount and sent another $100 as a letter of credit for you to return to any of our units in the future. We hope this will be deemed a reasonable solution, and that you will give us another chance to help create some wonderful family memories.

Total Disaster

This property turned spring break into a disaster that felt like a scene from National Lampoon’s Vacation and I was stuck playing Chevy Chase. The house’s water system made me fear for the safety of my family as water (toilet/shower/sink) poured from the air vents and light fixtures into the main living room anytime someone used the bathroom on top floor. Maintenance promptly arrived the second day we were there but was never able to resolve the issues prior to our departure after multiple attempts. I spent more time with the maintenance men than I did with my family on the beach. In addition, Bryant Real Estate did not follow up with any of my call back request but did credit me a $100 like that would make it all better.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House had a few more stairs than expected...biggest disapointment was how dirty the actual rental was. It didn't look like it had even been cleaned. Had to spend about 2.5 hours recleaning baths, bathrooms, floors( vacimed and wiped) and kitchen. Also amazed at how dirty the previous renters left the pool.Reported to mgt company they appologized as they said it was a crazy day of turnovers. They offered to send in cleaners for the house but we had already done it as we wanted to settle in. Should have been done before we moved in. Also pool didn't get cleaned for 3 more days. Not what i had expected from what we rented.
