The Space:
Salt 17 is a modern luxury penthouse apartment located right in the heart of the always popular Sorrento Village by the sea. Beautifully appointed, furnished to a high standard, delightfully spacious and in the perfect location, all make for the ideal holiday destination. The apartment is in the Salt Complex and includes the use of 2 secure basement car parks.
An inviting entry leads passed the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge toward an expansive private balcony with BBQ, outdoor setting and views of the colourful and vibrant main street. Enjoy cafe's, restaurants, fresh fruit and vegetable market, local IGA and a wide range of retail shops from clothing to books and art you're sure to find something special during an easy midday wander through this charming township.
When not enjoying local restaurants, the kitchen is a delight to prepare meals in: very well appointed with high standard appliances, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee pod machine and easy serving to the dining area.
The lounge is delightfully relaxing with large TV to unwind to, and the entire apartment is kept comfortable all year round with ducted heating and refrigerated cooling.

Main bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and vanity.
Linen and towels provided, byo beach towels please. Laundry with front load WM and dryer.

No Schoolies or Party style bookings. If you book and disregard the above then we reserve the right to cancel the booking, or ask you to vacate the premises immediately, with full loss of your payment.

Excellent communication prior to arrival with easy instructions for a smooth arrival. Fantastic location in the centre of the main shopping/eating street. Very comfortable and clean - will definitely stay here again.
This property is fantastic. It is situation right in the heart of the main street so it is close to everything. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the kitchen is large and well equipt. It has a lovely balcony with great views. I would highly recommend this property.
First class for location and facilities. Secure undercover parking. Quality linen. 3 big bedrooms each with an ensuite is a must for 3 couples in our 60s . All of these are a big plus !

Security and Parking : Excellent.
Overall Facilities : Satisfactory...but a few brief comments and feedback from our group' :-
* Lack of fly screens throughout entire unit.
* Both blinds in RH bedroom - inoperable.
* Toilet seat in RH bedroom ensuite requires attention.
* Access into and out of the shower over the bath in lower level bathroom ensuite was a potential "OHS issue". (eg : lack of handrail and ease of access)
* Kitchen accessories - only 5 matching breakfast bowls, lack of salad/cheese platters, wine glasses were adequate, but of varying size and shape.
* Cleanliness: lipstick on wine glasses, dirty wooden bowls, several cobwebs throughout, vacuum cleaner bag "full", hygiene concerns in toilets - no plastic bags in "waste disposal" container.
* No cleaning equipment provided for BBQ.

Regarding the lack of fly screens, we'll look into adding them to enhance guest comfort alongside the full airconditining. Our apologies for the inoperable blinds; we're scheduling a prompt fix. Additionally, the toilet seat in the right-hand bedroom ensuite will be attended to.

It’s always our favourite place to stay. We needed though to report the circuit break along the kitchen wall which was attended to immediately .Other than that faultless in every way

Salt 17 was lovely. Everything was clean and neat. The heating worked well and the hot showers were lovely. The instructions from the owner were easy to understand and sent well ahead so the garaging etc...all went smoothly. Salt 17 is right above the shops in Sorrento so we had an easy stroll to the pubs. We lunched at The Baths on Sunday, another easy stroll, so we didn’t have to worry about who would drive. The Baths experience was faultless; great food and great service. Salt 17 has a huge balcony so we’ll have to return in summer.
