Located in the charming hamlet that is Lakeside, we welcome you to Blue Canary Cottage! A modern retreat with the charm of family tradition. This four bedroom, two bath home was thoughtfully modernized by the owners both inside and out! Just a two minute walk to a beautiful association beach with no stair access as well! Blue Canary Cottage has thought of everything you will need for an amazing stay! Have your morning coffee in the gorgeous sun room. The cooks in the family will love the fully stocked kitchen with six burner gas stove. Main floor has one bedroom with queen bed. The second floor has three bedrooms, one with a king bed and two with full beds. Both floors each have a full bathroom.

All the amenities you would expect in a quality rental including internet, cable, washer/dryer, central heat and air, gas grill, and much more! Close to everything in Harbor Country!

Better than expected!

Although we knew this would be a great cottage to stay in, we were very pleasantly surprised by the close proximity to the beach and the wonderful ambiance in the house. It had more than everything we needed and we found ourselves relaxing so much more because of that. A great place to stay and would love to come back!

Great location, beautiful home

We love the New Buffalo area and my sisters, brother, and I have been visiting since we were infants. This home was in an ideal location. Short walk to the beach, and a quick drive to New Buffalo or other Southwest Michigan hot spots. The home was plenty big for all 8 adults and 2 toddlers. The home had a perfect cottage feel and was kept well, and clean upon arrival. We highly recommend this spot. The only downside was the late check-in time of 5pm EST and how early we had to be out, 10am EST.

Adorable house, newly renovated, comfortable and very well-stocked. The location is simply the best

I've lived in Harbert/ Lakeside for 40 yrs and know what makes a good house. This cottage is perfect for a getaway as it is one minute walk to our magnificent beaches. This year the swimming was perfect and the house made it easy to get to the beach. I have no complaints, just a caveat for those foodies like me who live for long dinners after sundown; there is no outdoor eating space except a simple picnic table set in the grass behind the house. Of course, the mosquito situation prevents that from being an option. It is however the only drawback of this lovely home.
