In the bathroom a large part of the frosting on the window was missing so people from the walkway outside could see directly into the entire bathroom. We had to wedge a towel up into the window to cover it so we could use the bathroom. Also there was water damage on the roof in the shower with a hole and black mould. Also no allocated parking space available had to chance that there was a visitor parking available otherwise only parking was on the street. Then we had to walk through the underground carpark through private parking gate to get to the lift. I communicated with the property owner and tweed coast holidays asking for a partial refund as I feel for the price we paid the issues we encountered were not to be expected for the price point. and I still have received no response

Strange Place, Misleading Listing
On arrival to this eerily quite complex, the first thing that struck us was that the rules for the guests were reiterated everywhere you looked - this continued inside the apartment which wasn’t particularly inviting. The apartment was clean except for the oven which was filthy. Tweed Coast did offer to get this attended to, but the cleaner arrived 4 hours later without a key - we were unaware that we were expected to wait in all day to let them in. For some reason the security deposit was taken out of our bank account twice, no explanation provided for that, just that it would be returned in a week or so. I’m fairly annoyed still with the ad saying “Simply open the pool gate from the balcony” - simply not true!! The apartment was on the second floor for a start... this was very disappointing for us and our son. I never review accomodation unfavourably, but to be totally honest, this place was pretty ordinary.
