Great spot for a family stay, close to the centre of Havelock and key shops, as well as wineries etc. Tidy house, good kitchen for cooking, nice outdoor area.
Everything was very nice, neat and clean The main disappointment was the high main road noise late into the night. Also, one neighbour was having work on their driveway done and the other renovating their house. Host should consider providing shampoo as it was indicated basic soaps included. Otherwise the property was lovely!
We've had a great time at the cottage. It was clean and nice, it had everything we needed, the hosts were very helpful as well. Hopefully we go back there at some point.
We visited with our small children and really loved our stay. Very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Well fenced and convenient to nice places to eat and visit (recommend ‘Off the track’ across the road, children can play on playground while you have a nice meal looking at Te Mata).

The house made our 6 night stay in Havelock North perfect. Gorgeous house, lovely and warm. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for the 3 of us.
Great wee house, perfect for what we needed and location great for the BMX track.

Absolutely lovely, clean and tidy property, with everything needed for our family 4 night stay. Lots of space and front gate to close, was great peace of mind.
Busy road meant a bit of road noise, but that was the trade off for being in a perfect location.
We had a lovely stay at the house. Everything was neat and new and the communication was clear. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting the area.
We found this property to be perfect in every way. A great location, it was warm, had a washing machine & dishwasher and had everything else we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time here! The house was clean and spacious with everything we needed. Spent most of our time outside in the garden (amongst all the grapefruits and lemons). Great location, close to Havelock North and Hastings. Would happily stay again :)
We thourouly enjoyed our stay at this very well renivated cottage. Very clean and cosy. Perfect for two couples and locality excellent, walking distance to shops and restaurant's.
Suggestion, a front door handle and shelf in showers for shampoos etc.
Ideal property for two couples the two bedroom cottage had plenty of plenty of room. Lovely out door area and gardens.
Close to shops and resultants the property is on a busy road and a high amount of traffic noise.
We all enjoyed our stay and would defiantly stay again.
It was a very happy base for our biking holiday, with plenty of room for carparking and a discreet area around the back where the bikes could be kept out of sight.
Traffic noise was not unexpected, but it really only affected those in the front bedroom.
Stayed 3 nights, with friends from overseas, for a concert at Black Barn. House was beautifully renovated and had everything needed for a wonderful stay. The host Rebekah was lovely to deal with. Great location on the main road between Havelock North and Hastings, 5 minutes walk into lovely Havelock township and 30 minutes from Napier. Great base for exploring this region with its close proximity to the towns, vineyards and Te Mata Peak for a birds eye view of the area. Highly recommend.

Great location handy to both Havelock Nth and Hastings.
Plenty of space for 2 couples with nice lounge, separate dining room and well equipped kitchen.
Ensuite bathroom is very small and shelf space in bathroom and shower absent.
Biggest issue is road noise..pity place not double glazed.

A really lovely, well-equipped and well-maintained property. Perfect for travelling with kids. The property owner left clear check-in and check-out instructions in absentia and we had total privacy while we were there. My only (minor) constructive feedback is that there is no clothes dryer, but there are plenty of laundromats nearby. Havelock North, Hastings and Napier are all within easy driving distance and all really beautiful towns. Well worth a visit. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Good location - poor communication with host
Beautiful location, well-appointed but on a busy road. Difficult to contact host, no response from contacts given in welcome pack. This made it difficult when we had a problem. Host finally contacted us 4 hours after initial call. Some necessities not there - such as dish cloth & scourer pad. No clothes line even though pegs available.
