The property was as described. Very new and nicely furnished with enough beds, seating and bathrooms for 9 people. The location was extremely quiet and peaceful. It’s is located within mins of everything in town. There is an excellent restaurant mins away that serves excellent food….Big Daddy’s Diner.
Nice home. Clean with scenic views, wildlife, low traffic area. Enjoyed the porches and amenities of the home. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home. Reminder to bring extra bath tissue, coffee filters and trash bags.
Cabin was beautiful and very roomy. Only down side was we had 8 people and we had to shower in shifts. There was not enough hot water. Other than that, the place was awesome.
I've been renting in Cloudcroft for 30 years, and never rented a home this nice! It's spacious, clean, efficient, and tucked away in a quiet corner...but still only a short walk or quick drive to Burro Alley.As a chef, I appreciated the fact that the kitchen was one of the most well-equipped of any place I've ever rented. (But don't expect any ingredients in the pantry, bring everything yourself.) Literally the ONLY thing we could have wished for was a hummingbird feeder or two out on the gorgeous deck!
This cabin was a terrific setting to celebrate our Dad's 80th birthday. We needed a cabin that had a first floor master bedroom, parking spot to allow easy entry, and a comfortable recliner. With this cabin, we had TWO master suites (with one on the main level), a parking spot on the entry level and more below, and a quadruple recliner set that was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked, clean and bright. The deck was huge and perfect for taking in the great weather and watching the birds and deer. The extra tables and chairs were helpful when other family members dropped by. We are so grateful that we were able to stay in such a lovely and well thought-out home. It suited our needs better than we anticipated. As an added bonus, the property manager let us in early - thanks Teri! I really believe that this cabin played a big part in the success of our weekend, and we wouldn't hesitate to rent it again,
The property is beautiful and recently remodeled. My family had a great week in Cloudcroft. The only cons we found were;
the moths, Each morning we would have to remove at least 10 dead or alive moths around the house and on the carpet. We had all windows and doors closed and still had several each day.
The cleanliness was ok, we are clean freaks so we cleaned before we unpacked.
All mattresses in the house are quite firm, we have a very soft mattress at home so we found it difficult to get comfortable. Would suggest bringing a mattress topper if you prefer a soft mattress.
The sheets felt stiff and a bit hard, we had to purchase our own.
The locked door off the kitchen must lead down to the basement/garage which has a window,
It felt a bit eerie to walk past and just felt uncomfortable.
Overall, a very very quiet home and a fun experience.
Can’t really say enough good things about this property. The kitchen was so well stocked. The entire place was so clean and comfortable. Carpet was clean and so nice. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of linens/towels. Great outdoor space. Close to town. Perfect for a family meeting spot!
