Nestled at the end of a cul-de-sac, ensuring privacy and tranquillity, this retreat is designed to embrace the sun and surf, boasting multiple spacious decks that invite you to soak in the spectacular scenery. Free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and alfresco dining with BBQ, complete this coastal haven, promising a blissful and unforgettable getaway!



The Space:

Split over two levels, beautifully furnished and thoughtfully equipped, the first level offers simple relaxation and seamless entertaining with the modern kitchen adjacent to the massive open living area and adjoining sun deck. There are two bedrooms on this level as well as a guest bathroom. The ground floor hosts the family bathroom, separate laundry, common room/ study area, second living area, 2 sun decks and 3 more bedrooms, including the master suite. The massive master suite has stunning views, a walk in robe, private ensuite and sun deck.



Guest Access:

Guests have full use of the house for the duration of their stay



The Neighborhood:

Situated an easy 2 minutes' drive to Blackmans Bay beach and or Kingston Beach, 4 minutes to Kingston main shopping centre and 14 minutes to Hobarts CBD. Please be warned you may not want to leave the house, with privacy, views, spaciousness, wildlife and that special something that creates holiday magic.



Getting Around:

For the best experience exploring Hobart and its surroundings, having a car is recommended. Yet, if you require public transportation, there's a nearby bus stop with a regular service commuting to the CBD.

Accommodation had everything we needed. Quiet location that is still close to the city. Great sea views from dining/living area and frequent sightings of wallabies and pademelons during mornings and dusk. Hosts were very responsive. Truly relaxing, immensely enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this charmingly, well-maintained spacious abode to ALL weary travellers. Extremely clean. What a view

This house has an amazing view could have just sat there all day. But we got out and discovered the area. The information at the house about places to eat was very good and we enjoyed each place we went too. Tasmania is just full of great places to see amazing scenery and so much to discover . Awesome space, clean and tidy, and has everything we need. The view was the cherry on top. Not in town that you're not in the middle of all the traffic, but also still close enough not to feel so far. Has grocer not even 5mins away which was really convenient. Very steep driveway, but we made two 4wd fit in the car space Check in was very easy. And the owners are very responsive and just wonderful people. Highly recommend

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hidden Bay Retreat! The house was spotless and spacious, perfectly accommodating our family of six. The view was absolutely spectacular, we hardly needed the TV, as we spent our time simply sitting and soaking it all in.One of the highlights was watching the wallabies in the mornings and evenings, right outside the window or from the balcony. The heaters in each room were much appreciated, and the heated towel racks felt like a real luxury.We did notice that the TV remote in the master bedroom wasn’t working, which may just need new batteries. On the plus side, we loved the air fryer and the thoughtful supply of paper insert liners, it made whipping up a quick croissant for breakfast before heading out so easy.The driveway is steep and twisty, but manageable once you get the hang of reversing out. We also appreciated the convenience of having Uber Eats available for nights when we wanted to stay in.Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, it made for a memorable and relaxing getaway!
