This home has it all for a family getaway and sleeps 10 comfortably. Currently rated Top 1% of short term rental homes in Calgary! A spacious, 2-storey home overflowing with amenities including a deluxe kitchen and open floor plan for visiting. Make memories with two separate living rooms, a King bedroom with large ensuite and soaker tub and comfortable, high-end beds and blackout curtains throughout home. Includes use of paddleboards, hot tub, natural gas grill, Traeger smoker, fire pit and a large deck with gazebo and fire table!
LAKE ACCESS, CITY VIEWS, there's something for everyone here!

This is a 10-year old home and is approximately 200 yards from the lake - a 2 minute walk.

Please be respectful of neighbours. Pets and alcohol are not allowed at the beach, on lake access pathways, in the lake, or at the dock. Quiet time is from 10pm-7am.

Parking for 2-3 vehicles in the driveway. Ample on-street parking.

**Please note that a short hair dog lives at this property part time. Although we clean and disinfect our property to a high standard, those with allergies should be aware.** Pets are allowed on this property on a case-by-case basis. Please inquire before booking.

Please supervise children at ALL times around the lake and have them wear a lifejacket. Ensure the home's back gate is closed and further secured if required (carabiner, zip ties, etc).

The host was so easy to communicate with and very welcoming. The house was amazing very well stocked, very clean and spacious. My group loved the coffee bar. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were well stocked, the beds were great and so comfortable. I cant wait to stay here again, its a great location.

We stayed here during Country Thunder and absolutely loved it! The back porch was perfect for relaxing, and the hot tub was a great bonus after long days. The house itself was super clean and comfortable, and all the beds were really cozy. Definitely a great spot for a group getaway, highly recommend!

This great find for anyone looking for a lovely getaway spot. It's just a stone's throw from Auburn Bay's lake, and nearby there are plenty of shopping and dining amenities to explore. We took full advantage of the lake's offerings, indulging in paddle boarding, swimming, and even a bit of fishing every day. It was such a treat!We also had a fantastic time barbecuing and playing board games on the outdoor patio. The home itself is beautifully furnished and fully stocked with everything we needed, from linens to kitchen tools and laundry supplies. Bryan, our host, was incredibly responsive and always ready to answer our questions, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Wonderful Calgary neighbourhood

For our first VRBO experience, this was phenomenal. The home was beautifully furnished, fully stocked with linens, kitchen tools, condiments, hot tub and lake needs, and laundry supplies. This is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. Amenities were incredible. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances. Also, the owner provides you with everything need to get started such as coffee, condiments, a gift basket of wine and goodies. The bedrooms are fresh and clean with lots of nice towels etc. The backyard is lovely with a hot tub, fire pit, nice covered deck. The private lake access is a short walk away and provides a nice bonus. The area is unbeatable with walkable playgrounds, grocery stores, and restaurants. Highway access is very close by. Bryan is a wonderful host. He’s easy to contact and answered our questions quickly. This place was 100% perfect for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. We would definitely rent Bryan’s place again!!

Lengthy Stay for Reno's

We stayed here for 3 weeks as we had a flood and needed to move out of our home. This property is both welcoming and comfortable, and had many of the items we regularly use to make our stay more homey. The owner, Brian is awesome, and readily available for any questions. Absolutely perfect !

This house was exceptional. The best stocked house I have ever been in including my own ha. Spotless clean. Very new / safe neighborhood with lots of trails and of course access to a lake. Gas fire pit was a hit for us in the evenings. 12 minutes to Costco and 5 minutes to Saveon. Thanks again !

Amazing host and property!

The host of this property did everything he could to make this stayeverything we needed and wanted. We were all stressed from moving kids and dog around from place to place. Our house being renovated from a insurance claim had us all in a stressful situation. My grandson is Autistic and change is a big deal for him. Even while I forgot to mention to host we had a working dog to help my grandson deal , he made it ok and everyone was better for it. The little touches the host made to welcome us made is all smile. Beds were extremely cosmfy and cosy, the kitchen had all the touched that help make it homey. So clean !!! Towels and linens great and plentiful. My Grandkids over all rateing was 11/10 ours was even higher as kids were happy and that makes life a whole lot easier. Thankyou Bryan

My name is Bryan and I’ve lived in Calgary about 10 years but over 40 years in Alberta! So much to do in Calgary with a lovely downtown, great golf courses, two rivers and the mountains an hour away.
I’m in Advanced Life Support, Paramedic and Firefighter for the past 30 years and still enjoy it!
In my free time, I like to hit the lake or mountains, go to the gym, walk my dog and travel as much as possible. I’m the father of two beautiful girls, ages 16 and 18.

Why they chose this property

The lake! Auburn Bay truly is a special place to live. Having a sandy beach, beautiful lake and a community centre at our disposal 365 days a year makes living here feel like a vacation.

What makes this property unique

Semi private Lake Access! An easy two minute/200 m walk from the back gate and you’re in the water with paddle boards I provide for free. You don’t have to pack your car up and drive to the beach and haul all of your stuff down there so it’s very convenient. If that’s not enough, I also provide propane for the fire table and wood for the fire pit free of charge. The Traeger smoker, with pellets included, natural gas bbq and beautiful hot tub make this property tough to beat!!
