Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area is currently rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. The location of this home was excellent and the house itself was very nice, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for in terms of layout and overall experience.Unfortunately, management was not very cooperative when it came to basic essentials. When we arrived, supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and automatic dishwasher detergent were not adequately stocked. We ended up needing to make a trip into town on the second day to purchase these items along with other basics that are typically provided for guests.If the property management improved their attention to stocking everyday necessities, this would be a top-tier stay. As it stands, the home and location were great, but the lack of support in this area was disappointing.

The Sun Palace management was available to us for questions, but gave us incorrect information about how to lock up. There were also items at this home that the information told us were not provided, such as beach chairs and children’s toys. The place was filled with towels and that was awesome. The chair in the 1st floor bedroom is useless and just in the way. The family room furniture is so crowded it’s nearly impossible to walk around. The tablet for the pool and spa would work, but was incredibly slow and failed multiple times. This is a lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood right across from the beach. The traffic is lined up bumper to bumper from about 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm making it an hour for a one mile drive. The traffic will keep us from returning to Ft Meyers Beach.
