The home was a perfect location and perfect setting for a family trip. The pool is spectacular and adds another element to a saugatuck stay- especially great for kids. Downtown Douglas is in your yard essentially, and Saugatuck is a lovely walk or a minute car ride. Loved our stay!
We have stayed here twice now. Very cute, very comfortable. Has everything we need. Close to everything. We had an issue with the hot tub, I called and someone was there within minutes.
We’ll stay again next year. 🙂
Very comfortable arrangement for a long weekend trip. The coffee machine had a bit of mold in it, so we decided against using it.

Hello, our apologies for the issue with the coffee machine. Per our instructions you could have called us with any issues and we would have been happy to take care of any issues that you had. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you! Quaint Cottages
Overall everything was great. We did run out of paper products, kitchen could have used a few more cooking necessities and glasses. But we really enjoyed having the pool. FYI, there is a camera on the pool and hot tub.
The house was beautiful - very nicely done renovation in a great location. We really loved this trip. Everything was comfortable and as described/pictured. The only drawbacks - which were not terribly concerning - were that the landscape needs lots of attention- very overgrown and full of weeds. Also lots of bugs in the house, but once we reached out to the property manager about it and he responded with explanation , we knew what to expect and were better able to manage it.
Overall, would certainly recommend.

Amy --Thank you for your comments. We regret not having the landscaping in place this summer for our guests. We have been working with the city to gain approval for a new privacy fence and regrettably the delay has pushed our landscaping plans into the fall. We seem to be making progress and hope to see some terrific improvements this fall.
We booked this location specifically because we were looking for a hot tub. We ended up getting about 30 minutes of enjoyment before it broke. We messaged Ethan and he was able to send someone out that day, but it was broken and needed a part, which meant it was down for our stay. The place is has a good sized living room and kitchen which made for a good place to hang out. We enjoyed our time in this location and had it been warmer weather we would have enjoyed the pool too! Nice space.
I did appreciate the responsiveness of Ethan and how quickly he sent someone out.
Nice place, open layout, bright and comfortable. The kitchen looks newly renovated with super high quality materials and appliances. The location is ideal...right down the street from downtown Douglas and a quick drive to Saugatuck. Water view across the street. Summer here would be awesome. Would love to come back and utilize the pool and nice yard. Only word of caution is that the mattresses are FIRM! which was ideal for half the group and they had the best night ever, but the other half (including me) had a bit of a rough time. I might bring my own extra padding next time, but that's just me, and overall everything was excellent.
Overall, the stay was fabulous. We had an amazing time. We were confused about the property itself. We misunderstood and believed that Captains Cove AND Crew Quarters were both included. They are listed differently on two different websites. So, we just misunderstood. After Ethan responded, we were settled. On a maintenance note, the pool was overflowing & very cold. We called and within an hour maintenance was there and fixed the issue. We enjoyed the pool for the rest of the trip. The only real issue we had, was we noticed a camera pointing right at the hot tub. That bothered us, as we didn’t feel like it was disclosed that cameras were in use. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. It is lovely!
The check in/out process was contactless and super easy. Everything you need to know is written down. All the basics are provided. The house is clean and comfortable and very close to the water and to downtown. We loved it and are already talking about staying there again.
