Welcome to Blue Lizard, a beautifully decorated vintage beach house that perfectly captures the coastal charm of Ft. Myers Beach. This 3-bedroom, 2-bath retreat is just 650 feet from the beach and features a private heated pool and a spacious, fenced-in backyard. The gas grill makes poolside BBQs a breeze—ideal for grilling burgers and steaks. Rinse off the sand and saltwater in the convenient outdoor shower, and the backyard gate offers direct access to the beach. Inside, the house has been fully upgraded with brand-new furnishings, modern bathrooms, and a kitchen with stunning granite countertops. Great little house. Kitchen was stocked very well. Coffee pot is broken but we don’t drink coffee, we were just going to use it for tea water. Since we were there for a month, I would have liked to have had a small dresser in my room. Pool was very nice, the temperature was good, which is very important to me.

Review of Blue Lizard
Home was clean upon arrival. Garbage was full from previous resident! Home experienced low water flow issue every morning. Home is located on the main road for Ft Myers Beach, Estero blvd, which was loud at times. If you stay here it’s about 6 miles down from all shops and restaurants. I wouldn’t stay here again based on those things!

Great visit to Ft Myers Beach!
My 12-yr old daughter and I came to Ft Myers Beach for Spring Break (March 2025). The house was super clean upon arrival and the pool was nice and warm. The beach is a short (5-7 min) walk but not crowded. The house is not close to the “hopping” part of Ft Myers Beach but that was ok with us. There is a Publix about a mile away and another shopping center a mile the other way (7-11, CVS, beach shop, ice cream shop, etc - places are still opening up after the hurricanes recovery so I’m sure more will pop up). Make sure to read the house description about what is and is not included. It’s 100% accurate. There are no beach towels. You get one trash bag, one thing of detergent to run the dishwasher, one thing of detergent for the washing machine. There absolutely no spices, salt, pepper, etc. You have to bring all of that for yourself. Not a huge deal other than the beach towels - I don’t know why a beach house wouldn’t have beach towels. The Publix nearby closes at 7pm and is expensive. So I’d shop before entering the island if I were to do it again. The house has all the kitchen tools you need. Both bathrooms have a hairdryer and lots of bath towels. It’s on a busy road so there was street noise in the morning for the front rooms. But I was able to drown that out with a sound machine. Oh and I have never been to Ft Myers Beach before so am not sure what it looked like pre hurricane. There is construction happening but it feels ready for visitors! Thanks for a great visit!
