Very nice stay. Home met our needs but with a couple of observations... - shower diverter upstairs was inefficient - bathtub did not drain properly- black mold on concrete floor in basement
The house was perfect for our large group. Walking distance to downtown. Loved being on the lake watching the ducks and the bald Eagles. Loved the beautiful old charm of the house. We would definitely stay again.
Soo much fun! Lake is awesome!!! But communication between the host was nonexistent..... i messaged 4 times... no response. Still haven't had response after our weekend there
This is a lovely family home with history we appreciate. My grandmother bought a small logger cabin on Beaver Dam in the 60's and we have all been enjoying everything that Cumberland is (and isn't) since then. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home for a couple of nights. My mom and I made a short visit to check on an addition to our family cabin that is currently under construction down the lake. Your place had everything we needed and was very welcoming. We loved the historic charm and the proximity to town. Felt like we got to "meet" another neighbor and was fun to experience the lake from another location. It is clear how much your family also treasures this place and the family memories you've made through the generations.
I was in town on business and found this cute little house to stay at. I got to practice ping-pong and play piano for a few hours. nice place. (Please tune the piano before my next visit 😜)
The house is cute with a lot of character within walking distance of downtown. There are window units in each bedroom upstairs. Just a heads up, the bathrooms are small, to be expected in an old house, but we had several people staying at the house who are over 6’ tall and struggled a bit to take a comfortable shower as the shower was built on the pitch of the roof. Overall fun weekend close to activities!
Nice house and lakeside setting. Sloped ceiling over shower would be uncomfortable for a tall person. 4th bedroom very small bed. Other than that, nice place, clean, spacious rooms. I'd stay there again.
We loved this property! The location, the lake, the entire area!
The house was perfect for a girls weekend get away and we are hoping to come back next year!
Thank you for the beautiful house!
Great indoor and outdoor space to spread out. We were only a family of four but appreciated our own rooms, well stocked kitchen and fun ping pong table and lake access.
