The river is beautiful, easy walk down to the area, so peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and the house was really nice. Comfortable beds too. We had a great time rafting too!
House and property were lovely and perfect for our family gathering to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary. Just as advertised- clean, well appointed, spacious, and great location. Quick response from host. We loved it and would definitely stay again.
Super spacious property with easy access to both the highway and the river. Our group was looking for a relaxing weekend getaway, and we had a blast fishing, exploring, and playing board games. Plenty of beds for everyone to get their own place to sleep. Close to a Walmart for easy groceries too!
Cleanliness BEYOND expectations. Pictures do not accurately show how wonderful this “cabin” is. Pride in ownership is in EVERY detail: comfort of beds & furniture, superbly appointed kitchen, perfectly placed hot tub, gorgeous woodwork throughout and basic necessities provided. We will return in three months with grandchildren.
The Lakemont property was beautiful. Gorgeous cabin, very accommodating for large groups, and beautiful spaces to spread out. The primary bath with amazing shower and copper tub were spa-like. The kitchen was more than accommodating for all of our cooking needs, and the property manager was a delight to work with. Our entire group loved the property and their accommodations and would love to return at a future date.
The home and property are lovely! Having access to the river and fire pit was so convenient! The hot tub is kept very clean too. In general, the home would benefit from a deep cleaning (think under couches and cushions, backsplash in kitchen, a hot mop throughout, dump out crumbs from toaster, etc). The lower deck fire pit and dishwasher were not operating during our stay, which did impact our experience.

Super Nice
Enjoyed our stay. Super nice. Plenty of room to spread out. Lots of attention to details. Only issues- slow drainage of bathtubs and kitchen sink, but was quickly addressed by staff. Drive way is a bit hard to maneuver especially with wet leaves, hard to get traction without AWD.All in all, convenient to local attractions. Would recommend!

Beautiful Home for Large Group
The home was beautiful and beyond adequate for our large group! It is clear that great thought and intention went into ensuring we had everything we needed! The property manager was a delight to work with and everyone raved about their stay! The primary bathroom with the copper tub and shower made it feel like we were at a spa! The property provided great space for everyone to spread out and enjoy nature and the quiet.
Our son attends Piedmont University and we came up for a long weekend to attend his swim meet and celebrate my husbands birthday. Location was amazing, only a few minutes from the swim meet and beautiful riverfront views. We enjoyed spending time outdoors and walking along the river. Property was well appointed and we appreciated the comfy beds and nice linens. Thanks for a wonderful weekend! We will be back.
Every single one of us enjoyed our stay at the Tallulah property. The house fit everyone comfortably. It had a really well stocked kitchen, everything you would need. The outdoor space, the river, the land was absolutely my favoroite. I could have stayed forever. The one thing we thought would have been nice to have is a pool table downstairs. My family and I enjoyed the property, the house and the area very much. We all agreed we would definitely return. Thank you for a really lovely place to celebrate Thanksgiving with the family.
Loved the cabin. But for what it cost it should have been much cleaner. There were small German roaches all thru the cabin especially the kitchen ! Which made cooking and entertaining guests almost not realistic. The trash cans in all bathrooms were full upon check in. The sheets on all beds looked like they were from the last guest still. There were bloodstains on the beds we found when we removed sheets to wash for ourselves before we slept in them. Bandaids in showers. The couches smelt of dog urine. The hot tub was absolutely disgusting we did not even think about using it. Which was a shame as that was a main reason we chose this cabin. One of the shade umbrellas was broken ! And the floors were gross. But after we swept and mopped the floors. Washed the bedding and took out the trash. It was great ! Loved the area And all the extra space by the river. Will prob rent again just hopefully the owner will get new cleaners by then.

Hi Adam, thanks for taking the time to review your stay. After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to share the following:- We apologize for any inconvenience caused by cleanliness issues. Our maintenance team did not notice any cleanliness concerns before your check-in.- We have been treating the property for bugs and hadn't observed any in over three weeks. We offered to address this during your stay but did not receive a response.- Our maintenance team found the hot tub in good condition both before and after your stay, but we are still planning a deep clean and additional insect treatment.Once again, we appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve the guest experience.
This cabin was beautifully and comfortably decorated. Linens were nice. Mattresses were comfortable. The master suite with a walk-in shower was perfect for our most senior couple. A half bath for all who sleep on the loft would be very nice; a lot of people share the main hall bath. We wish someone had written that fires are better in the outdoor fire pits than in the indoor fireplaces. With windows open, smoke from the main floor fireplace rises to the loft and sinks to the basement which isn’t good for sleeping. Our evenings around the river fire pit were fun. The property has lots of room for walking and is near some great walking and hiking trails. Our serious hikers and marathoners loved the location. For three who love to cook, it was the best-equipped kitchen of any place we've ever rented; we loved having a table big enough for all of us to sit together. t was a great place for our family of twelve to gather for the first time in almost 4 years We’re grateful for the week we spent in this lovely cabin.
Everything was great. Needed more towels for the number of guests. They were laid out on the beds but not the additional sleeping areas such as the futon and sleeper chair/trundle bed. We just has to wash them daily so everyone could get a shower. Plus no additional towels for the hot tub use. Sheets had your normal hair, so either they were not washed or just not washed well. Strange smell like a dead animal in the lowest level. Just left doors open for awhile to help it dissipate. Overall great property, maybe just need the cleaning crew to do a little better job. But all in all we would definitely stay here again.
The home is lovely and comfortable. It was well stocked and near grocery stores. The owner was very responsive. The river was great. My husband enjoyed fishing there and our dog swam everyday. Google maps and Waze do not take you to the correct location, but once we figured out the correct entrance, it was easy to find each time we left and returned. A great place to relax and enjoy what nature has to offer.
Our family rented this very spacious home to attend a family funeral. It was very spacious and gave everyone spaces to hangout and reflect on memories of Mom. Yet, when we wanted to all be together, we were not cramped at all. After many stressful days, the copper tub was such a wonderful treat. There is a new restaurant just up the road on the other side, that we all loved the food and the outdoor space. It was a perfect home for a large family. Thank you for hosting it.
Must say this was One of the best vacation spots our family has stayed at! The cabin was convenient located to river , attractions and restaurants. The picture did not do this rental justice, Very well decorated with super comfy mattresses. Everything you could ask for in a vacation was here. My family of 13 fit very comfortable. It will definitely been in our future plans. Highly recommended. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home!
