Cape Cod is an arm-shaped peninsula located on the Easternmost portion of Massachusetts. The national Seashore stretches over 43,500 acres of dunes, ponds, woods and almost 40 miles of Atlantic shoreline. It is a well-traveled tourist and vacation area, natural attractions, historic sites, art galleries and many four star restaurants. The area is also very popular among antique enthusiasts and people who enjoy summer and off season activity . Many opportunities exist here for golf, bike trails, fishing and other outdoor activities. The town of Provincetown, at the very tip of the peninsula, is the site of the first landing of the Pilgrims. A must see, known for fine dinning and shopping on or off season.
Most of the shoreline between Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro and Race Point Light is open at various times between July 1 and November 15, subject to permitting and equipment requirements. The section between Long Nook Beach and Head of the Meadow Beach is open April 15 to November 15 for night fishing

The perfect Cape getaway

Beautiful home in a quiet and charming part of the Cape. The hosts were very responsive and helpful in making us feel welcomed. From the spacious kitchen/living area, to the wonderful bedroom accommodations, to the private backyard patio, to the most comfortable couch I've ever sat on, every inch of this home was perfect. We could not stop talking about how we wanted to come back here again. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Just Perfect

This was a fantastic place - immaculately kept with a great floorplan. Everything was perfect. Conveniently located but isolated from traffic, it was the perfect spot to kick back after a busy day’s adventures. We had a lot of fun in the game area and spent a much time in front of the fireplace. Just a gem of a property! Thanks to the owners for being such gracious hosts and for sharing their special home with us.

Wonderful Stay!

Had an AMAZING time during our first visit to Cape Cod. The home was beautiful, clean and had absolutely everything we needed. Very open communication with Marc & Tara. They were phenomenal and their home is a true gem. Went shopping at nearby Mashpee Commons on multiple days. Great restaurants nearby, and even had a dream trip, Whale Watching in Hyannis. As a person with very high expectations, this home totally met my expectations and I highly recommend staying in this wonderful home.

Lovely home in great location

Loved the kitchen and open floor plan, plus the home was very clean and came with all the little things (paper products, hand soap, pantry basics). The outdoor space was recently landscaped and was great for our 2 year old grandson. Neighborhood was quiet and private and beaches are within a mile. Our early June visit was great - beautiful weather for beach or walking. Loved the proximity to shopping and dining but we did a lot of cooking in the kitchen and outdoor grill. This was truly one of the nicest properties we've ever rented and we definitely will be back.

Beautiful home, in a quiet neighborhood

This home was so cute & we felt right at home the entire time. The kitchen was so spacious along with the backyard. We threw the football around all weekend long. This house is super close to shopping, food, the beach - you couldn't ask for a better location. The owners were so accommodating. We needed an early check-in to make it to a wedding in time and they made that happen without a hesitation. We would totally stay here again! =)

Perfect!

We love this part of Mashpee. It’s great for walks, beach days, biking, kayaking and boating. It’s also a short bike ride from Popponesset’s restaurant, bike rental shop, ice cream and more, and a short car ride from Mashpee commons. We had some beautiful days to take care of it all, it also some not so nice days we spent playing pool and ping pong in the basement. The house was perfect for our group, the patio with its gas grill and fire pit was a plus. Perfect score for our host and their house!

Marvelous Mashpee

Inside and out, this house is the perfect vacation rental for those wishing to explore Cape Cod. Nestled in a quiet, wooded area, the house is just minutes away from a wide variety of shops and restaurants at the Mashpee Commons, as well as a pristine beach right around the corner. Once you open the front door, you will be wowed by the gorgeous gourmet kitchen adjacent to the cozy and nicely decorated living room with a large flat-screen TV. This eating/living area also boasts a private deck right off the kitchen area. Three bedrooms outfitted with extremely comfortable beds and lovely bed linens, along with two well appointed bathrooms, are situated on the other side of the house. This separation offers plenty of privacy from the living area. You can tell that the owners take great pride in their property. They have created a beautiful and inviting home in a peaceful area. Don't hesitate to rent this lovely Mashpee cottage. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Luxurious and Cozy hidden gem...

Absolutely gorgeous property - if I could, I would give 10 stars for cleanliness and design/layout!!! I was a bit worried staying in a smaller property with seven of us, bit we had just enough space to keep together and then spend time on our own when in the house. Gorgeous, manicured backyard, awesome tabletennis table in the basement and fire pit for marshmallows... Superb kitchen with new appliances and every gadget you could possibly need while on vacation... And of course really awesome location (near beach and the commons). Overall great vacation home!!! Thank you Tara and Marc!!!

Great rental and very close to the beach!

This is a great rental property. We had 4 adults and 4 children. Enough room for everyone. House is updated with all the amenities. Great space for eating indoor and outdoors. Two close beaches about 5 min car drive from the property. The owners are very friendly and respond quickly. The house is also close to shopping. Our families enjoyed our time and we would definitely rent this house again when we come back to Cape Cod.

Clean, updated, and quiet.

We enjoyed our stay in this home very much. It has a spacious, well equipped kitchen, 2 very nice bathrooms with plenty of towels, and a great back deck with grill. The home was clean and we loved the games in the basement. The beds were comfortable. The house is a 20 minute walk to Mashpee State Beach, you can drive and park for a fee. It took us about 30 minutes to drive to Falmouth to catch the Ferry to Martha's Vineyard. The house is around 50 minutes to Chatham and 30 minutes to Hyannis. Those are the day trips we took. Mashpee Commons has a ton of restaurants/shopping and is a 15 minute drive. The only suggestion I would make is to supply some Beach accessories. We had to buy a couple of beach towels, buckets/shovels/toys, and would have enjoyed beach chairs. Remember to bring shampoo/soap as they are not provided. The owners are quick to respond and very friendly. Thank you for allowing us to use your place! We'll be back!!

Great location and clean home

The home was in a great location. We loved the quiet neighborhood for walks with the kids. The home was very clean, comfortable beds, TVs in 2 of the 3 rooms and a very functional kitchen with everything you would need for a meal. It was true home away from home. Our trip involved a lot of rain so it was really great to have a home that we didn’t mind spending our days in. Tara was great to communicate with. We hope to stay again sometime!

Great pre-wedding house

This was such an awesome place to hang out and get ready before my wedding. The backyard was great for cornhole and the house was the perfect size for everyone to have space to sleep. I would highly recommend this property to anyone getting married at new seabury because the location is perfect and the house is awesome ! Wonderful Home Away From Home!

This home was immaculate and very accommodating. The neighborhood is very quiet. The Rollos were very attentive to any questions we had. Mashpee Commons is nearby and we went there for coffee every morning. Grocery stores and lots of nice restaurants are at the Commons, too. We took our granddaughters to the Cape Cod Childrens Museum nearby and they loved it! A big thank you to the Rollos for sharing their lovely home!

About the host

We are a couple with two boys who have fond memories of going to the Cape as children and enjoy coming as a family now. We love the location because of its proximity to the warm waters of South Cape beach as well as being close to the Bourne bridge. It’s also a very peaceful neighborhood.
We also love skiing as a family and list our Okemo mountain condo on Homeaway. Please check out listing 4431963 for mountain fun; skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, fall foliage. Thanks!

Why they chose this property

This property has been completely renovated inside and out. It is in a wonderful location, very close to South Cape Beach. It is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood with lots of Cape Cod charm. It was restored and propertly updated with care and concern for detail with quality workmanship. It is a pride of ownership home that we know you will appreciate and we sincerely want you to enjoy it here as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

There is an entrance to a free, lesser known beach area on the Waquoit Bay side in our neighborhood. It is about a mile, and once you are there it is truly breathtaking...Set up a picnic with the kids, do water crafts, observe sea creatures and make some great memories!
