About this property
One mile from South Cape Beach
This property is a beautifully finished one level home with finished basement that has gone through a complete renovation and we continue to upgrade and improve to maintain a new fresh look. This property is less than 1 mile from South Cape Beach State Park and only roughly 30 minutes from the Bourne Bridge.
This home has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, an eat in kitchen, as well as a living room. Hardwood floors througout with tiled bathrooms. The kitchen features stainless appliances, microwave, full refrigerator/freezer, gas stove, granite countertops and plenty of cups/plates/glasses/bowls/mugs/flatware and a Keurig coffee maker. We recently finished the basement to add approximately 1,000sqft of livable space. It’s beautifully decorated with shiplap walls and equipped with a pool table, ping pong table, and large sectional sofa with tv. This home is situated in a very desireable peaceful neighborhood with beautiful South Cape Beach within one mile as well as fantastic attractions.
Swim in the Nantucket Sound sheltered from the heavy Atlantic Ocean. It’s said to be the warmest water on the Cape!
Restaurants, grocery stores, movie theaters and large prime shopping area, the Mashpee Commoms, with over 100 stores only a short drive from the house.
Quashnet Valley Country Club (Public Course) 18 holes par 72 yards 6,601 Amenities: Driving range, rental clubs, lessons, wonderful restaurants nearby. Bring your trailed boat. There is a launching area just down the road.
Cape Cod is an arm-shaped peninsula located on the Easternmost portion of Massachusetts. The national Seashore stretches over 43,500 acres of dunes, ponds, woods and almost 40 miles of Atlantic shoreline. It is a well-traveled tourist and vacation area, natural attractions, historic sites, art galleries and many four star restaurants. The area is also very popular among antique enthusiasts and people who enjoy summer and off season activity . Many opportunities exist here for golf, bike trails, fishing and other outdoor activities. The town of Provincetown, at the very tip of the peninsula, is the site of the first landing of the Pilgrims. A must see, known for fine dinning and shopping on or off season.
Most of the shoreline between Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro and Race Point Light is open at various times between July 1 and November 15, subject to permitting and equipment requirements. The section between Long Nook Beach and Head of the Meadow Beach is open April 15 to November 15 for night fishing
Island Ferries
Only 11 miles to Hyannis Ferry for a 1 hr. hi-speed ride to Vineyard Haven or Oak Buffs on Martha's Vineyard. The year-round population of the island is about 15,000. On any given day in summer, the population increases fivefold, to an estimated 75,000 with Oak Buffs Ginger Bread House village and their Entertainment Gazebo. Visit Edgartown, an old whaling port that is now a summer and tourist destination with a multitude of houses built by whaling captains and other prominent people of prior centuries. The home of the Chappy Ferry a 2-3 minute ride to Chappaquiddick Island.
The Nantucket Historic District, comprising all of Nantucket Island, was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 13, 1966. Nantucket is a tourist destination and summer colony. The population of the island soars from about 10,000 to 50,000. The island features one of the highest concentrations of pre-Civil War structures in the United States. The Nantucket ferry docks in the center of Nantucket. A short walk to experience the hustle and bustle of downtown by enjoying a meal at any one of the numerous fine dining establishments. Lose yourself in the art galleries along the wharf, stroll through the museums and historic sites or pick up some island treasures at any of the many boutiques and shops in town. Tour buses park feet from the ferry gangway. The city and country side tours begins immediately. You can see everything with a short walk of the ferry landing.
Cape Cod Fall Attractions
The best time to take advantage of the cooler golf weather and less crowded courses very seldom is T time necessary.
Of course, most of the seasonal shops in Provincetown are having their end-of-the year sales so it is a wonderful place to stroll around and do a little shopping
Also the Party fishing boats are going out for cod around then. Or charter boats for yellow fin tuna.
Mini golf, t-shirt shops, and paddling abound everywhere on the Cape.
If you enjoy live theatre, check out the schedule for Harwich Junior Theatre In West Harwich, the Cape cod playhouse or Cotuit Center for the Arts.
The Whale watch tour is a must while visiting Provincetown.
Biking Trails and Hiking Trails are aplenty and are a favorite of locals and tourists alike.
Cape Cod Winery is quite an experience. The wine is great and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Make lasting memories any time if the year on Old Cape Cod.

About the host
Hosted by Tara & Marc Rollo
We are a couple with two boys who have fond memories of going to the Cape as children and enjoy coming as a family now. We love the location because of its proximity to the warm waters of South Cape beach as well as being close to the Bourne bridge. It’s also a very peaceful neighborhood.
We also love skiing as a family and list our Okemo mountain condo on Homeaway. Please check out listing 4431963 for mountain fun; skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, fall foliage. Thanks!

Why they chose this property
This property has been completely renovated inside and out. It is in a wonderful location, very close to South Cape Beach. It is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood with lots of Cape Cod charm. It was restored and propertly updated with care and concern for detail with quality workmanship. It is a pride of ownership home that we know you will appreciate and we sincerely want you to enjoy it here as much as we do!
What makes this property unique
There is an entrance to a free, lesser known beach area on the Waquoit Bay side in our neighborhood. It is about a mile, and once you are there it is truly breathtaking...Set up a picnic with the kids, do water crafts, observe sea creatures and make some great memories!
