Indoor-outdoor flow to patio dining, 4 double bedrooms. Whole property is fenced. Short walk to shop, cafe & kids play-parks. Easy drive to various towns in 4 directions & to visit the whole region. Boat ramp, Surf Club, skate park, tennis all local, golf close too.

The host was great to deal with and the batch was nice and well looked after . The only thing I would change is the beds were hard work and need to be upgraded.

Nice spacious property for all 7 of us, bit far from where we wanted to be most of the time (Tauranga & the Mount).

Disappointing

Chech-in process and initial communication worked well. Kitchen and bathroom looked great, but most of the dishes/pans/cutlery were not very clean. The stove did not work and despite phonecalls/text messages to the owner for help there was no answer. Waste bin and most of the ventilators were rusty. We had booked for 6 people but only five beds had linen. To get to the second bathroom you had to leave the house since its entrance was from outside. Most of the furniture looked very old and raggy. Overall rather diappointing

Hi lydia, sorry to hear ur dissapointment. In regards to ur concerns ur booking was for x 3 adults & x 3 children. The cleaners only allow for the allocated amout of people with x 2 people adults/children per bed. The x 4 double beds equates to x 8 people, and the upper bunk is left unmade for that reason. The kitchen appliances are brand new and the on/off powerswitch was above the hot plate. The dishes etc are washed by the cleaners that hv been used previous, so i will take on board to check all other cutlery etc. The toilet down the bottom has always been this way and is advertised on the portal. My phone has had no missed calls on that day and i had received no messagges on the portal, which would alert me straight away. Im sorry we didnt get to ur exspectations and wish u all the best. Hv agreat day

Kiwi bach with great location

Nice big bach, two bathrooms, beautiful location, helpful owner with great communication. Bach is clearly a work in progress but there were lots of modern conveniences like aircon and smart TV. It could have been cleaner in some areas; bathrooms & linen, but overall a good experience.

Why they chose this property

Only a hop & a skip to the beach with the tranquility of green farm views to the hills behind. We love fishing, kayaking in the river & estuary & family fun on the huge back lawn.

What makes this property unique

Real beach holiday getaway but only ~15 mins to the golf course, great supermarkets, shops & cinema in Te Puke or 25 to the Bayfair Mall or on to The Mount, Rotorua, Whakatane & heaps of fun on offer in the region!
