Erskine Beach House is your home away from home, comfortably accommodating an extended family or group, close to Lorne beach, the bush and shops.
Just a 6-minute stroll to the beach and 10 minutes to its name-sake Erskine River mouth and picturesque Swing Bridge and coffee. The Lorne Country Club with golf course and tennis is only two minutes’ drive away.
The word “Erskine” is from ancient Scottish, meaning “green rising ground”, aptly describing the panoramic ocean and bush views from its’ many decks and fully windowed living areas and bedrooms. The rise from the beach is gentle by Lorne standards and atop the rise affords eucalypt-framed 180° views from north to Aireys Inlet lighthouse and south to Lorne pier.
Erskine is a place of light & natural colour, from sunrise to sunset and moonrise, the spacious open plan living with high ceilings and bay windows, blends into outdoor and the wider natural bush surrounds. By day or night, the large covered north-east deck with BBQ and 3 private bedroom decks expands the natural experience.
Nestled in a peaceful pocket amongst gum trees & established gardens, Erskine attracts many & varied visitors: kangaroos, koalas, kookaburras and king parrots to name a few. Set your dreams free by a moon-lit night sky, twinkling stars and the distant Lorne pier, unabated by streetlights or nearby houses
With 5 large bedrooms - 4 queen and 2 king single beds – and spacious dining & living rooms with wood-heater, Erskine Beach House comfortably accommodates an extended family or group and still affords secluded nooks for personal time. Fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and laundry complement the home away from home experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with family at Erskine Beach House. We had perfect weather for the week but perhaps air conditioning would be a bonus if faced with very hot days/nights

Absolutely loved Erskine beach house. My sister, children and a friend stayed from Friday to Sunday to attend our local football match. Fantastic location and the hosts had the reverse cycle going to make the house warm and comfortable when we got there. Thank you very much was greatly appreciated

great property with all as advertised. Only negative is no Airconditioning, on a 32 degree humid day the sun facing rooms are to hot to sleep in . Fans in all rooms help. lower temps would be no issue.
