This was a perfect place to stay while visiting family nearby. Quiet, natural beauty of the mountains, everything we needed was in the house and it was very comfortable.
We enjoyed the relaxing setting. We were amazed at the deer hanging out on the property in the morning. Watching the many birds, including hawks was exciting.
The home was warm and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for the time we were there.
It was convenient to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta.
I could not figure out how to use the coffee maker so the owner purchased a regular coffee maker the is easy to use, Thank you.
Pros: Beautiful property surrounded the home. The home was comfortable and clean. The property manager responded quickly to any issues that arose.Cons: I appreciated that the listing stated there was no dishwasher. However, the listing did not include that there was no TV and the oven did not work.

Hi Donna, we want our guests to have a smooth and enjoyable experience, and we appreciate you sharing both the highlights and areas where we can improve. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We take our listing accuracy seriously and we do not advertise a TV as an available amenity. The home has never had a TV, but we're sorry if it caught you off guard.- We didn’t receive a report about the oven during your stay, but after checking, we confirmed it is working properly, it uses an electric ignition that requires the knob to be pushed in while turning.- You did reach out about a few outlets and the porch light, and we were glad to resolve those right away, the outlets needed a reset, and the porch light is motion-sensitive, which can sometimes cause confusion. Thanks again for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve for future guests!

Disliked: Communication, location
I booked this property for two weeks and had an emergency causing me to leave the 2nd day. I understand that I booked it for two weeks but I reached out to them immediately, did the check out instructions and left the key inside. I asked if they would be open to a partial refund or working out anything because of the circumstances and they never got back to me. I tried to communicate with them first but their lack of communication or understanding of the situation was disappointing.

From the owner:"Hi Brooke, I’m truly sorry your plans changed so unexpectedly. I stayed in touch through calls and texts to help however I could and suggested reaching out to both your travel companion and VRBO, since bookings are managed through them. While the home was reserved for your full stay and rebooking on short notice wasn’t possible, I wish the circumstances had allowed for a better outcome."
The property was comfortable and quiet and exactly what I needed. My only issue was the internet was not usable. You had to be at the far end of one side of the house and it still would not stay connected???
Very nice property b/w ABQ and Santa Fe. I had a very early flight arrival and they allowed me to check in early. Communication w/ property manager was easy, polite, and professional. Beautiful views from the deck. Nice home base for exploring ABQ and Santa Fe.
