Over all, we enjoyed our stay. Mostly just a place to sleep. We didn't have time to hang out much, but what little we did, we enjoyed. Thank you

East Mountain Retreat

My wife and I stayed a few days at the Pine Cone Inn while we were visiting our son who lives up the mountain about 20 minutes. It was a very pleasant and comfortable experience for us. Our host, Brad, is very thorough and communicates every detail (and more) about the property and the east mountain area to ensure a great experience. We've stayed before with Brad at his larger property closer to Cedar Crest. Both are top-notch properties with attention to every detail. Highly recommended.

Most amazing spot and host!

Brad was the best host we’ve ever had! The spot was beautiful and well lit for our arrival and had flowers waiting for me, as this was my birthday trip! He provided excellent information about the surrounding area and places to see and try for food. We will most definitely be back!

My wife and I had one of our best vacations ever at the Historic 1925 Pine Cone Inn. First and foremost, our hosts were amazing! Every Vrbo host should be as warm and welcoming as they are. They greeted us when we arrived and maintained sxcellent communication throughout our stay, and they provided us with an amazing itinerary for places to go in the Albuquerque area. The Inn itself is tastefully decorated with all the amenities of home waiting for you. Cozy, comfortable and quiet. It was like coming home every night. We visited friends in the area so we will definitely stay here again when we come back. It was a joy to come back to the Inn at night to relax in the hot tub and just enjoy the peacefulness of nature. We are grateful to our hosts for allowing us to feed their horses apples while we were there. It was a special treat for us to be able to feed them and enjoy being around them for a little while each day. We highly recommed a stay at the Historic 1925 Pine Cone Inn. You will not be dissappointed!

Never got below 72 at night. 1st night it started to work, then it didn't. Hot rough night. Shower is not tiny, but close. Shower head is for someone about 5'9.If the Master suite AC gets fixed, would rent again despite shower.

Relaxing home away from home!

What a relaxing, beautiful place to stay! The hosts were very welcoming and conversational providing lots of info on the local site and things not to miss. The facility is super comfortable and has all you need for a fabulous get away. Know that the fridge and kitchen are tiny spaces. Look before you shop! The hot tub was a welcomed destination after a long day of hiking, ballooning and site seeing. If we are ever back in that area, we will be staying again!!

Great location!

My husband and I recently visited from Tulsa, OK. The Pine Cone Inn is an excellent getaway that is perfectly located close to Albuquerque, Madrid and Sante Fe. Convenient stores and restaurants are within 4 miles. Nestled in the mountain with hiking trails right outside your door. This location has everything you need including robes, games, and extra blankets. Brad provided several locations for the amenities in the area. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor patio after long days of site seeing and hiking. I would highly recommend The Pine Cone Inn for your next trip!

We loved our stay at the Pine Cone Inn! It was just what we needed to decompress for a week. Located just far enough away from Albuquerque for peace and quiet, but close enough to easily drive down for dinner and to enjoy the balloon festival. It's on a quiet road, with the top of Sandia Crest and it's amazing panoramic views from a deck and walkways at a 10,700 feet altitude are just a 20-minute drive up the road. And all along that drive there were countless wonderful hiking trails ranging from easy to difficult, many of them ending up with amazing views in all directions. The house was spotless, with comfortable beds and linens and was very cute and cozy. It has a wonderful front patio area to sit and relax and a very nice hot tub with great views, surrounded by a pine forest. There are lots of little places to grab something to eat nearby if you don't want to drive into Albuquerque, and a beautiful golf course and dining room with an outside patio and deck to watch the sunset less than 10 minutes away. Brad, the host, was extremely communicative and helpful and we were happy to have rented from him and will do so again in the future. You really can't go wrong with this wonderful little secluded Paradise!

Wonderful, relaxing getaway!

We stayed 4 nights. Brad communicated clearly before and during our stay so there were no gliitches checking in and lots of suggestions for things to do in the area! The home was spotless and very comfortable! They provide TP/paper towels, soad/shampoo/laundry detergent and salt/pepper/seasonings. The kitchen is small but more than sufficient. Although tje host lives in the upper half of the home, it is designed in such a way that it is very private (and cozy!) I really can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! One word of caution, don't let google trick you into coming in through Placitas on 165! A beautiful drive BUT a really rough/unimproved road! (Brad said that had never happened before so probably just my issue!). designed in ry private
