Truly a magical stay in Lake Tahoe! Steelhead Lodge was perfect. Stocked with anything & everything a family would need. We fell in love with Lake Tahoe and this cozy cabin during our stay and will look to return. The location was ideal for walkability and short driving distance to nearby beach coves like Sandy Harbor. We enjoyed cooking, playing games, the hot tub and making smores in the fire pit. Thank you for sharing your truly serene retreat!
We very much enjoyed our stay at this house! The description was very accurate. The location — an easy walk to the lake and many restaurants — was terrific. Our kids were super comfortable, and the furniture was relaxed and cozy. We enjoyed the ping-pong table particularly, and the hot tub was well-maintained. It was really nice to be able to travel with our dogs!Communicate with the hosts was absolutely terrific, and it was easy to get into the house. We would return!

The house was clean and well organized. The accommodations were perfect for our group. Wonderful location. My kids had a blast. Thank you!
Amazing! We stay at a lot of houses, this is by far the best! Loved it! So many amenities, everything you could ever need. Highly recommended! Thank you so much
We had a great time the only hiccup was the wrong code was given in the email to access the key which was resolved in about 30 minutes. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Hi Vera, thanks for staying with us. We're glad you enjoyed the location of the home as well as the home itself. We hope to be able to host you again.
This is an absolute gem, a woodsy haven that's snug and hospitable, located within walking distance of several restaurants and other establishments. The roomy cabin is the best stocked of any place we have ever stayed, down to the milk frother in the coffee-making area, and the outdoor towels for wiping paws of canine companions. A lovely, relaxing place to spend time together and enjoy the rich resources of the Lake Tahoe area. Managements is friendly and obliging.

Hi Debbie,
We're glad you and your dogs enjoyed the home. And we appreciate the feedback about the lighting. Suggestions like this help us improve the experience for future guests!
This house was perfect for our gathering of 7 family members who came from far away. House has a really big, open living room and dining room area, so we never felt cramped. The kitchen is very well-appointed - they had every utensil and gadget we could ever need. The place is very dog-friendly, with a handy fenced in back yard area. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The ping pong table and cornhole were hits, along with the propane fire pit. It was a perfect place for our family.
Our two families thoroughly enjoyed our stay in King's Beach! As noted in a previous review, the home/kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly think of to cook and serve a quick or gourmet meal. Also, all bathroom amenities were fully stocked and clean as well as everything you need to care for an indoor/outdoor furry friend as there is a huge front lawn and a fenced area. This by far was the best Vrbo we've stayed at for a quick trip to the slopes. Location was close to both statelines and a variety of ski/snowboard slopes to explore. prime location to board rentals, market, and restaurants. Communication was stellar throughout our stay which made reservations, check-in and check-out easy for all. Thank you and we look forward to returning.
I cannot say enough good things about this house! First, the host Carolyn was extremely easy to communicate with. It was a holiday weekend and she accommodated an early check-in. The check-in information was so organized and when we walked in there was a beautiful gift basket and it was so fresh and clean.
The location was perfect. You can walk to the beach and restaurants. The house itself....what a blast! Hot tub, games, and tons of room to have fun. We had a wonderful time and will definitely book it again.

Absolute Favorite Tahoe Rental
WOW! I usually don’t leave studded reviews but this house & owner Carolyn was absolutely amazing. We were supplied with everything needed, towels, kitchen utensils, kitchen wear, SPACE, cleanliness, activities & ETC! If you also have dogs (especially dogs who are runners off leash) this place is for you. We usually don’t rent a house in Tahoe with a fence but we decided to try it this time & it definitely was a better feeling. Plus there were activities for the dogs.
We are extremely happy and definitely will be staying here again!
This is the perfect house for a multigenerational family reunion -- it was equally great for my uncle (82 years old) and my nephew (18 years old). The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need for big family meals, not to mention the many options for eating, including in the shade of the patio or at the 2 picnic tables under market umbrellas. My nephews and nieces had fun playing ping pong and using the game room -- and if they had had more time, would have loved to play basketball, tetherball, and pickleball as well. The included parking lot for 6 cars (plus beach parking pass!) was priceless for the busy 4th of July weekend in Kings Beach: the elders could hang out at the beach for as long or short as they wanted before heading back to the comfort of the rental house for an afternoon nap. My nieces and nephews loved the easy walk to coffee, ice cream, miniature golf, or jet skiing whenever they wanted. Carolyn was proactive in her communication and the most gracious host.

Really chill cabin, walk to the beach/coffee/safeway!
The cabin was nice and spacious with a huge living room, and downstairs game room/ ping pong table. Which was nice to close the door when the kids were playing loud. Its an older cabin, maybe a little "rustic" in style. But everything we needed was there. Everything had a Label on it. Ever light switch or remote. The hot tub was nice, a short little trek in the snow, but 10 seconds of cold to enjoy a hot tub out in snow was worth it. The driveway is huge and has a basketball hoop on it. Short walk like 3 or 4 minutes and you are at the beach and coffee hut. Safeway is probably a 10-15 min walk in the snow. When we arrived they had the TVs on with music playing, and a welcome gift basket which was nice. We brought our puppy? 3 year old Vizsla who just lit up playing in the snow. The cabin like it says is Dog-Friendly! And they even put out dog toys, blankets, supplies to clean up any accidents, and warned us about coyotes at night. The host was very helpful, proactive, and great communication! Thanks again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our first stay in Lake Tahoe at Brockway Vista! The home was perfect for us, very well stocked with everything you could think of needing, excellent communication with tips/suggestions of things to do/places to see and just a short walk to the beach! Thank you so much, we hope to return someday. : )
Beautiful property with every detail taken care of - so easy to make it feel like home right away and clear instructions for everything. Would highly recommend!
