Short Term Rental License #2022-098

Over the Snow Transportation is required to get to this home in the winter

months due to the roads being closed. Transportation is provided and scheduled

through the Host, Bear Valley Vacation Rentals. The cost of the transportation

was included in the cost of your initial booking. During the summer months

when the road is open, you can drive to the home. The dates for which over the

snow transportation is needed may vary due to snow levels but road closures

are typically from approximately 12/1 to 5/1 annually.



Our properties always have all beds made, except for the top bunk of bunk

beds, where the linens are provided for guests to make themselves. If the

guest exceeds the number of beds available, there will be an additional charge

$35 per guest and we will need to be notified in advance to ensure proper

accommodations.

We've been coming to Bear Valley as a mens' group of 8 for 20 years. Unit 318 met all of our sleeping, cooking, dining and relaxing needs.

The kitchen was not clean, the dishwasher leaked when we tried to use it, the toaster oven was very dirty, the oven was very dirty and smoked when we used it. Kitchen drawers did not function properply, refrigerator was dirty and the drawer was held together with duct tape. The only heat source for the downstairs was not working, but we were able to get space heaters, which we had to pick up. The large jetted tub did not work.

This is a great spacious home right across the road to the beach! The owner was helpful and responsive... Our family has been renting this place every year and it’s always fun and relaxing. Lots of things, fun day trip excursions, etc. also nearby.

Great house for a group

This house was perfect for our group of 12 friends. The kitchen/living room/dining room is big enough that everyone can hang out together, and we liked the big porch and view of the lake. Being so close to the beach at the lake was great too. I will say that sound traveled between floors, so bring earplugs if not everyone is on the same sleep schedule.

Wonderful home for family vacation

This is our third stay at #318. We have a multigenerational family from age70's to 11 years. Ample bedrooms, kitchen works for more than one at a time and easy walk to beach, Lots of closet space, and pantry for our things. This is important, because often with rentals, owners have a lot of their own items with no room for yours. Variety of spices in cupboard, but remember to bring plastic bags, wrap & foil. Plenty of dishes and flatware, plus dishwasher is excellent. BVVR prompt in fixing stove and receptive to our suggestions (like providing a new sponge for clean ups).
