Charming cottage on a beautiful lake with a gorgeous dock to enjoy it. close to public beach with beach volleyball - great for the teens. Access to kayaks and canoe to enjoy the lake. Well stocked cottage with all the kitchen appliances one could want. Lots of games (indoor and out) at renters' disposable. Hammocks in the shade. Limited outdoor seating for eating. Great location with lovely country store close by with fresh baked goods, deli, LBCO and excellent selection of craft beer.
Could use a bedside light or two.
This was your typical cute cottage, nice interior and very well stocked with everything imaginable. Any time I contacted our host Mark with any questions, he responded quite quickly. As true to the pictures, beautiful dock and scenery, that’s what sold us!! On a side note for families with small children, there is no walk in from the shore into the water. It is rocky and goes deep quite quickly. There is a beach 5 mins away which you can see from the dock, otherwise if the kids can jump from the dock all is good. There is wifi, but it is very slow, what do you expect, your in the woods. So my suggestion for families, download a bunch of stuff for the kids at home. This was my first time ever renting a cottage, I read the list amenities, I just wish there was another list of what to bring. It did not mention if there was a BBQ, I emailed Mark to ask and yes there is, I also didn’t bring bed linens, the picture shows the beds made, so I just assumed. Oh well We made due with all the blankets provided. Overall our experience was fabulous, would we go back?? ABSOLUTELY!! Thanks Mark
