WONDERFUL describes this house! Plenty of room for a large crowd! Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, and furniture and lots of deck seating! We would definitely return to Stags View! Host answered any questions we had and the VIEW, WOW! We have been renting in this area for 10 years and the view from this deck is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

Wonderful house for our 3 generation family trip! Our favorite things were enjoying the mountain view on the porch, the proximity to 2 great hikes at Glenn Falls and Chinquapin just down the road and easy access to shopping and restaurants in Highlands. Hard to beat this location! And the house has a great set up. Grateful to our hosts for sharing their beautiful house and making our trip a smooth and memorable one!

Just Perfect

We stayed for four nights with our grown children and the house was just perfect! The location, the views, the spaciousness, and even the decor were amazing. The space was also well stocked with kitchen tools and very updated appliances. We look forward to going back!

Family Fun in Highlands

We had a great experience. The host was very responsive. The house was perfect for our group. The area also has lots of waterfalls that are beautiful and worth the effort to see.

Wonderful stay at Stags View

The Stags View provided a great location and accommodations for our four couple reunion. We loved the great room with its open design for cooking, eating, visiting, and relaxing. The well equipped kitchen was appreciated by all. The location has a fantastic view, is very private, and yet has easy access into Highlands for shopping and dining. The host was very responsive to our questions and requests.

Thanksgiving Stay

We had a great stay and the house fit 14 total guests no problem. Beds were comfortable. Furnishings are good quality. Family room is very welcoming and enjoyable central spot for family gatherings. Host was very responsive to any issues / requests. We hope to be back.

The property needs a good cleaning. The decks in front and outside were slippery because they needed to be pressure washed. The washer and dryer also are need of a good cleaning. The dryer lint screen was full and the washer has mildew around the door and rubber seal. The kitchen cabinents also were disorganized and dirty. There were two coffeemakers, one leaked when you added water the other only worked half the time. We purchased our own which we brought home with us. Also the driveway is in terrible shape. The house does have amazing views.

Highlands Home

This home was beautiful! The kitchen was stocked with all we needed for cooking several meals, the beds were very comfortable, the layout was perfect!! We enjoyed our Christmas getaway. It truly was like being home. Decor was nice, and we all had a wonderful time. The sunrise and sunset views are amazing!! I would definitely recommend this home and would love to return soon!!

Relief from the heat!

This house and location were a welcome relief from the heat for all of us. It worked beautifully for our whole family and the grandchildren loved the bunk beds! The covered outdoor space was our favorite gathering spot. The view is wonderful!

Happiness with a view :)

Stags View was the perfect vacation home for our big family. The view is absolutely amazing. An abundant about of space for everyone to be comfortable. Lots of amenities including a Bluetooth record player with a great selection. Close to town and lots of waterfalls. We highly recommend booking your Highlands stay at Stags View!

Girls Weekend

My girlfriends and I (a group of 10) had the most wonderful stay at White Stag. The house was perfect and the common rooms were exactly what we needed to lounge, eat and catch up over a long weekend. The view is phenomenal and it was so nice being close to downtown We visited during the "off season" in February but everything was still open in town and there was plenty to do. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Spacious home with amazing views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious and well located home only 3 miles from downtown Highlands. We spent most of our time on the back porch taking in the spectacular mountain views. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything needed to cook at home and each bedroom was very comfortable with nice linens. The home is perfect for a big family or several families.

Spectacular Home and View

We had a wonderful 60th birthday in this lovely home. Plenty of room for 4 couples and several young adults to stay comfortably. The view is spectacular where one can catch the sunrise and sunset. The owner was extremely helpful and the response time was quick when we had a question. We will be back to enjoy this beautiful home and all it has to offer.

Cros /Lain Christmas Gathering 2022

Renting this property was very easy. Did it all on line. The home is lovely and had plenty of room for 10 adults, 2 babies and 2 dogs. Would definitely rent this home again.
