Timber Ridge - Memories are made here!
20% Off Pre-Holiday Getaways! Enjoy a peaceful mountain escape before the holiday rush! Book your stay before Thanksgiving or Christmas and save 20% on nightly rates. Cozy up, explore, and relax—these limited-time pre-holiday discounts won’t last long.
Timber Ridge, part of the Ridge Vacation Properties group, is an upscale log cabin, newly remodeled and professionally decorated to give you every modern convenience in a luxurious but cozy atmosphere. Brand new plush mattresses, down duvets, quilts, crisp cotton sheets, Turkish cotton towels, and a variety of bed pillow options, along with a mix of antique and new furnishings, guarantee that you'll be a little spoiled by the time you leave! The renovation also included the addition of many smart-home conveniences, easily controlled by voice using the Amazon Alexa devices located throughout the cabin and on the deck. Play music, ask a question, control the lights --even adjust the temperature just by speaking. This 2,000 square foot cabin is nestled in the woods at an elevation of 9,200 feet and features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
MAIN LEVEL – The gourmet KITCHEN features all new stainless steel appliances, leathered granite countertops, designer cabinets, ambient lighting, and a handy breakfast bar with seating for 4. You'll find everything you might need in this well-appointed kitchen including an Instant Pot slow cooker/pressure cooker, Cuisinart toaster, Cuisinart dual coffee maker (which accepts single-serve Keurig-style coffee pods as well as ground coffee for making a full carafe), a blender, a full set of T-fal stainless steel pots and non-stick pans, a variety of bakeware, and all kinds of cooking gadgets and necessities, as well as basic pantry items, paper goods, and linens.
Over in the EATING AREA, the round antique dining table is perfect for leisurely meals overlooking the side deck and woods but can also accommodate family games or puzzle sessions with eclectic seating for six. A gas grill is located just outside the sliding glass door so your home chef can easily get some BBQ going!
Wrap yourself in a cozy throw and settle into the soft leather sofa in the LIVING ROOM to watch a fire blaze in the stone fireplace or catch up with your favorite show on the 50-inch Smart HD TV, which is also visible from the kitchen. Step out the back door onto the wrap-around deck to watch the wildlife, enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the comfy rocking chairs, or stare off at the wooded mountain views and let your mind wander. Curl up with a book, take a nap, or unwind with your loved ones while the rest of the world stays busy without you!
In the upstairs BATHROOM, you'll be impressed by the custom tiled walk-in shower and thick Turkish cotton towels. And while there's plenty of room to store your own toiletries on the hand-crafted shelves or granite-topped vanity, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, all necessary paper goods, and a first aid kit are provided for your convenience.
BEDROOM 1 features two vintage twin beds, an antique curved front dresser, and a handy desk with an antique chair where you can write a note or pretend to get some work done.
BEDROOM 2 offers a queen poster bed and overlooks the back deck into the treetops. It also features a beautiful plaid chair to relax in and plenty of closet space to store your belongings.
LOWER LEVEL – On the lower level, you'll have access to the ground level deck where there's room to sit and plan a badminton or lawn darts competition. Step off the deck and let your stress melt away in the calming HOT TUB, or follow the path on the landscaped hillside to the custom FIRE PIT where everyone can gather 'round the campfire to rehash the day's events. The large FAMILY ROOM is perfect for watching movies on the 65-inch Smart HD TV, or you can organize a fun FOOSBALL tournament! Extra guests will be more than comfortable on the queen sofa sleeper with memory foam mattress.
In the spacious downstairs BATHROOM, you'll discover a deep full-size bathtub and shower with custom tiled surround, a granite-topped vanity, and plenty of storage. Again, essential toiletries, a first aid kit, and plenty of linens are provided.
BEDROOM 3 features a stunning four-poster king-size bed and plenty of room to spread out, and if the down duvet and crisp cotton sheets don't make you decide to stay in bed all day, they'll definitely woo you back for a lazy afternoon nap! After that, you can sit in the comfy Flexsteel chair to plan tomorrow's adventures.
Finally, the lower level boasts a cute LAUNDRY ROOM with a full-size stacked washer and dryer and plenty of space to sort and fold your family's laundry on the built-in countertop. There's even room left over to store your luggage until it's time to pack up and head home. But will you ever want to leave? That's the predicament you'll face when staying at Timber Ridge!

This place was just fantastic! We wanted a little break from the city and this could not have been more perfect. The home was lovely- so clean and welcoming. It had everything we needed from blankets for every area of the house to little necessities in the kitchen. The beds were cosy, the hot tub was great, the upper deck was the perfect place to sip coffee in the morning. 100% would recommend to anyone and we’d love to stay again. Book here, you won’t regret it!
Fantastic cabin. The hosts have put a lot of effort into thinking of how to make the stay enjoyable. We had a great time. We highly recommend this cabin.
Fantastic accommodations and totally supplied with everything you needed. Wonderful owners who are responsive if you have a question. Would definitely go again.
Very clean and beautiful property. The welcome book is very detailed on the house and hosts are across the street and accessible by text for any questions. Great place to stay.
The cabin is great! It is close to several attractions, but also far enough away that wild life walks up in the yard. The owners are great to work with.
So glad we happened upon this beautiful cabin set in the woods. The home is impeccable and the setting is perfect, and the drive from the cabin to Colorado Springs is breathtaking! We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and hope to make a return visit. Thank you for sharing your home with our family!
The pictures do not do this cabin justice. It is incredibly homey and decorated to perfection… they literally thought of everything. We had the best couple day getaway! Thank you Wendy and Wayne!
My wife and I were looking for a place in the mountains to get away for a few days and this place exceeded our expectations. The house was warm and inviting and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. It was just the relaxing mountain vacation we were looking for.
The cabin was perfect! So beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The Christmas decor was gorgeous and made us feel like we were at right at home. We just loved everything. Thanks so much for making it so lovely.
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and inviting cabin in the woods! It was the perfect getaway for our family of 7. The cabin was very clean, well-maintained, and felt so welcoming from the moment we walked in. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax and reconnect. We especially loved the quiet mornings surrounded by nature and evenings spent by the fire. Highly recommend for families looking for a clean, comfortable, and charming retreat in the Colorado woods!
Amazing cabin! The kitchen was very clean and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable and cozy. There are a lot of games, toys, etc. to keep the kids occupied and the outside space is great for family time. The only things to be mindful of is that there are some breakable decorations that are kid accessible and there are a fair number of instructions for the house and its variety of amenities. I don’t consider these to be negatives, just things to be aware of.Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we visit the area again.
This is a beautifully decorated cabin in a relatively secluded mountain neighborhood. We had a wonderful time relaxing, watching the wildlife, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. We highly recommend this amazing cabin!
This property is absolutely beautiful. They supply everything to make your stay better. The kitchen is fully stocked! The cabin was extremely clean when we checked in.
Really really great.. super clean and modern.. location was remote but good for us.. went to Royal Gorge, Pikes Peak via Cog Railway, garden of the gods, drove the gold belt around Cripple Creek, etc.
This was such an amazing stay! Kids absolutely loved it. The place is immaculate; perfect for romance or family fun. Wayne and Wendy are the perfect hosts and have everything you could possibly need in that cabin, even down down Alexa’s in every corner which my kids loved. My wife and I enjoyed every minute. It’s the perfect hideaway but close enough to civilization if needed. Highly recommend for anyone!
Pictures were accurate of the beautiful home we stayed in. No photoshop. It was perfect for our vacation. So cozy after a long day of exploring the area.
The property was beautiful inside and out. It was easy to get up to the cabin. The owners were wonderful and thought of every little detail. It was like a home away from home!
This was one of our favorite spots that we have traveled with our family. The house was spotless, in a perfect location for enjoying the out of doors and wildlife. I would highly recommend it.
Beautiful property with all the amenities you could ask for. Wayne and Wendy were very attentive and helpful in providing recommendations. 10/10 Would highly recommend.
This home was a highlight of our trip. The owners have thought of everything to make you feel at home. It was cozy and very clean. We will definitely be back when we're in the area again.
My family had an Amazing stay at Timber Ridge!! Wendy and Wayne were excellent hosts!! So many details to make it the best stay. The location was beautiful with fresh fallen snow. Secluded and still easy to get around. The home is way more cozy and gorgeous than the pictures. I am grateful for the home and hospitality!!
