This was one of the cutest cabins I have stayed in. Everything was nice, clean, warm, and plenty of space with the two living spaces. It had everything we needed from pots/pans to body wash and towels. The only issue we had was getting the hot water to work in either showers. But will definitely book here again!
Beautiful scenery and wildlife, especially the birds, squirrels and chipmunks visiting the feeders on the porch. Accommodations were as advertised and more than sufficient for our trip. Had one minor issue during our stay and the property manager was responsive and kind.
If you are in the area and need a place this is the place. So relaxing and reflective. The accommodations are incredible and perfect for the location. You will enjoy a restful quiet night sleep and a wonderful vacation. I highly recommend! Thank you for having us!

Perfect Getaway
209 is a delightful getaway nestled in the mountain woods. From the comfortable beds to the contemporary decor, everything is just right. We enjoyed the woodsy smell of the clean, cool mountain air from the deck, and luring the birds with the birdseed provided. A perfect spot for venturing out in different directions from Boone to Todd to West Jefferson. Thanks for creating a lovely spot for rest and relaxation!

From the owner: "Stephanie, thank you for your kind review! We have enjoyed staging the house for a peaceful stay. We hope that you will visit again!"
Really enjoyed a great girls weekend. The property has a gravel drive and in some places it is steep. There was 3 bedrooms, 2 baths along with a kitchen and a living room upstairs and down. The WiFi was mostly good but they really need to leave some instructions for how to use the TV's. We had a difficult time trying to connect the network to the TV. It was a good thing we had nature as our TV. They provided bird seed for the feeders on the deck and we had a great time watching the birds and squirrels compete for the food. My only complaint was the cleaning fee that was about equal to one nights stay, especially when we started to use the oven and realized the previous guest had left a pan of tater tots in the oven. That sort of made me question the cleaning process. Otherwise, a beautiful property and one that guests can enjoy together or in separate areas. Would have been great to have an iron and perhaps a fire pit, especially for the s'mores they provided! Other than the few issues, we had a wonderful getaway, especially away from all the people in town for the App game!
