This is an older home with a lot of character. Had a couple bumps along the way but homeowner was quick to reply and make things alright again. Cannot beat the location of this home. Truly a gem of a spot! Thanks

Loved Loved Loved staying here. I needed to recharge from a very stressful year and it was just the place. It had everything you could possibly want - except a gas grill. I would request one for the future. We will likely book it again!

Classic old-school summer cottage right on the ocean!!

Our extended family had a wonderful stay at Grey Gull Cottage. The huge porch and amazing view were the highlights of the trip. The house is well-outfitted, and although the kitchen is very small, it is a pleasure to cook in! Swimming off the rocks was a blast, but if you have small kids the public beach right next to the house would be a perfect spot to spend the day. In retrospect, it might not have been the best house for my 96-year-old mother-in-law as all the bathrooms (as well as bedrooms) are on the second floor, but that was our oversight. We met lots of friendly people and dogs over the course of our week - Blue Fish Cove seems like a nice little community.

Love the location and great room on ground floor. Parking on street needs 2023 passes we got some comments from neighbors for parking on the road. Also upstairs bathroom at end of hall blinds don’t work. Really appreciate stocked bathrooms. Thanks for everything!

Great location and setting, rough around the edges

The cottage has a great location with a fantastic porch that overlooks the bay. This is the number one highlight where you can sit and overlook the moon, the waves, and not see the neighbors. Inside the main floor has great open space with tons of room and a nice large table. The kitchen is small but has all of the essentials that you need. Upstairs there is a bathroom with a stall shower and a second bathroom with a tub/shower and washer/dryer. The four bedrooms are upstairs and all but the "kids" room have ocean views. Based on the age of the house, everything has little creaks as you would expect. The house just needs a little bit of smoothing 'around the edges' to really make it shine. Most of the outside solar lights did not work and there was no working outside light on the porch. The outlet for the microwave didn't work and required you to move it to sit on top of the stove. Wall switches in the bedrooms control some outlets, but not the ones with the lights. The welcome book was hidden on the bookshelf instead of set out on the table. The listing states there is a firepit, but there was not one present and the host took several days to reply to the question about it was located. Overall, these are some small issues that could be easily fixed to really help make the house fit the price per night. The little town has some nice restaurants and the house is located to take advantage of being close to Plymouth, Boston, and Cape Cod.

A Hidden Gem!

My family and I loved this classic beach front cottage with modern amenities! There were seven adults in our party and the cottage has plenty of space both for sleeping and just hanging out. Ocean views from 3 of the 4 bedrooms. The porch is large, a great place for your morning coffee and watching the ocean and stars. The house is a great place for a relaxing vacation or a homebase for sightseeing - or a combo! Plymouth Rock is approximately 20 minutes away - Boston is under an hour! The cottage is close to wonderful restaurants, some walkable, others a quick drive away. A small gorcery store is also near by. We had a magical week and plan on booking this cottage again!

Great Stay @ Bluefish Cove!

Couldn't have asked for a better spot to stay while visiting Marshfield! There were a group of 9 adults and there was more than enough room for all of us. Location is everything, with the beach right at your doorstep and restaurants just a short walk away there was always something to do. The bedrooms are good size and almost all of them have an amazing view of the ocean. The huge front porch was the spot to be every morning! Coffee definitely tastes better when hearing the ocean crashing in. Would 100% recommend to anyone with a group!
