We enjoyed the house and the game room very much. It is in a great location to stores and eats. The grounds are beautiful and we spent a lot of time outside. Definitely recommend this property. The host was very nice also.

This was a very comfortable and nice quiet setting for our family to gather and enjoy our time together while visiting pout of state. the house was neat, well organized with plenty of room. It was nice having the fenced in area for our little tcup yorkies to run and play.

4th of July stay

Always great stay and love ease of having the fenced yard in addition to yard space. Pond at back was huge hit this trip. When come to Zanesville to visit family is one of first places check to see if is available.

Nice place

Nice little place. It is an older home. Cozy with a game room (man cave) Pets are allowed which was great. Will stay here again when in town

This was a great spot with a nice front porch and river views. We enjoyed playing games and watching movies. The washer and dryer was a bonus as we were able to do laundry while we were there. The local restaurant recommended were great. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property that was in a quiet, pretty setting but close to restaurants, shopping and more. The unit was very neat and clean with a nicely supplied kitchen. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the game room provide us with great entertainment. The host was informative & gracious. We would definitely stay here again if in Zanesville.

Nice river view

Had a great time! The game room was a blast, we had fun playing games and watching wildlife! Saw four deer grazing up on the hill and saw a beautiful eagle on the river! We had nice food choices that were fairly close, The Barn had the best pizza I’ve had in a long time!! Thanks for and amazing weekend!

Pet friendly cottage for the Wilds

We stayed here in Zanesville for a weekend visit to The Wilds. It was a perfect place off the road for our dogs to stay safe. We can tell the owner has been making some nice improvements to the home. Our dogs loves the place and we spent most of our time in the game room wirh our dogs at night. Furniture was very comfortable. Hosts were very responsive and nice when we locked ourselves out and came to the rescue to unlock the house so we cpuld finish loading up the car. We would stay here again!

If I could give this host a 10 I would. This host was super accommodating. The property had everything and I mean everything you could need. Soaps, towels, linens, even toothbrushes! We loved the rec room and the fire pit. There are several fruit trees on the property that we enjoyed. The fenced in area with the doggie door was such a plus. This property was super clean and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. Best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. It’s far enough out of town to feel like country but so close to town for anything you need. Loved the river view. We will definitely rent here again. The musty smell was overwhelmingly powerful so much so that it caused an asthma attack. It was advertised as 6 people & did not sleep 5 adults. The blowup mattress had mold & mildew on it. There were not enough bath towels. The decor was that of a frat house from the 70s. There were exposed electrical components. We will not return.

We’re adding more details so guests know the rollaway and air mattress are in the living room closet. The décor is accurately shown in the photos, giving guests a clear idea of what to expect before booking.– We weren’t able to find any exposed wiring or an off-putting odor after inspecting the home following your stay, but we’ll continue to keep these notes top of mind moving forward.– The air mattress was recently replaced and will be checked more frequently to ensure it stays clean. We typically provide 6–8 towels, and we're following up with our cleaners to make sure an adequate supply is always stocked for future visitors.We appreciate your feedback and are committed to ensuring a great experience for all our guests.
